On the 22nd March 2002, 15 year old Robert Williams left his home in the village of Resolven in South Wales and his family haven't seen him since. No trace of him has been found and all lines of enquiry haven't led to any concrete answers. On October the 21st 2009, Alan Wood went shopping at the supermarket and then headed to his local pub The Willoughby Arms in Lincolnshire. It was a normal day and his usual routine. When he didn't arrive at work the next night, people became worried and a colleague went to his home. He found an awful sight; Alan had been tortured and murdered. His murder is still unsolved and his family deserve answers. On the 6th of July 1984, Bill Hodge dropped his wife Marion off at the Whitesands bus station near Lockerbie in Scotland. She never returned home and nobody has seen her since. None of her bank accounts have been touched in the years since she disappeared and the reason for her disappearance is unknown. On the 28th of February 1979, Joe Gallagher and Frieda Hunter were discovered in a pool of blood in their bed in their home at 3 Hallbottom Street in Hyde, Greater Manchester. One of Joe's colleagues had entered the home through a downstairs broken window and discovered the couple. Joe and Frieda's lives were analysed thoroughly by the police and in the press which caused the family even more distress. The murders are still unsolved. On the 28th of September 1939, 4 year old Joyce Cox was walking home from Whitchurch Infants School in Whitchurch, Cardiff with her cousin and older brother Dennis. Somewhere along the few minute journey, Joyce disappeared and her family couldn't find her anywhere. Her body was later found and it was discovered that she had been strangled. Joyce's case became cold when no new leads came in but her family now hope that DNA can be used to solve her murder . On the 30th of October 1969, Helen Puttock headed out to the Barrowland Ballroom with her sister Jeannie. The pair loved dancing and while Helen's husband George could look after their two sons, the sisters made the most of a night out together. Jeannie travelled back with her sister in a taxi along with another man they had met while they were out. She got out of the taxi and Helen went on to her house. She never arrived. Her body was found in a back yard close to her home. She had been murdered. The Barrowland Ballroom connected all of these murders and so a huge investigation was launched. When Jeannie told them that the man they had met that night was called John and he quoted the bible, a new name for the suspect was born. Part 3 of 3. On the 16th of August 1969, Jemima McDonald was on the way for a night out at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, Scotland. Her sister Margaret usually went with her but that night she stayed at home and watched Jemima's children. Jemima didn't return to collect them and Margaret got worried. She would eventually find Jemima's body amongst debris and rubbish in an abandoned building. Glasgow Police now had two murders on their hands and they both revolved around the Barrowland Ballroom. On the 22nd of February 1968, auxillary nurse Patricia Docker headed for a night out at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow. She never returned and was she was found murdered close to her home. She had been stripped naked and her handbag thrown in a nearby river. On Feburary the 3rd 2003, 27 year old Margaret Muller went jogging in Victoria Park in Hackney in London. Margaret was an artist from the US who was now studying and living in London. That morning should have been like any other but it wasn't. That morning she was brutally stabbed and murdered in a seemingly random attack. The case has still not been solved.
