Record Store Day is coming on April 22. The event includes a limited edition Star Wars: A New Hope 10” vinyl record for the 40th anniversary. Additionally, Joe has a Nintendo Switch update, previewing some upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibos. SWCT Some exciting news in the Topps Star Wars Card Trader world, Trade Fed regulars and Patreon supporters Biljamin and Miraluka have released episode 1 of the Cloud City Card Cantina Podcast. Cloud City is dedicated to SWCT. For those who have been feeling left out by Trade Fed's own dwindling coverage of the app, this is definitely the show for you. Star Wars Destiny Bill gets ready to attend the Star Wars Destiny Spirit of Rebellion preview event at local shop Toys n Things in Danvers MA. This casual non-structured event should be a great way to get a first taste of the game. News Hasbro Black Series wave 11 cases will contain Hera, Lando, Emperor's Royal Guard, Tusken Raider, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Director Krennic. With representation from nearly every era of Star Wars, this is an excellent case. Rumor has it this will be the final wave to feature the red and black packaging of the last two years. More than likely, the packaging will be updated for the Star Wars 40th Anniversary. Star Wars 40th According to Brickseek.com, Walmart's inventory system is already showing data for the Star Wars 40th Anniversary Hasbro line up. Inquisitive Rebelscum forum member Ham_Salad has revealed a number of SKUs that describe product as "SW BLK SERIES 6INCH 40TH ANN FIGURE ASST." The character line up suggests a tribute to the original 12 Kenner figures. Another SKU references Black Series die cast figures. What those will be remains to be seen, but Bill has some guesses. News The Black Series 3.75" AT-ST with driver has started hitting Walmart without any sort of announcement ahead of time from Hasbro. Check out Jedi Temple Archives and Yakface for coverage and Brickseek info. Due to release on February 1, the Darth Maul miniseries from Marvel Comics will be one of the very few narratives in the Star Wars canon timeline to take place prior to The Phantom Menace. Bandai Star Wars 1:12 Model Kit Bill recounts his build of the Bandai BB-8 model kit. These kits are a blast to build, and if you are into LEGO and/or six inch action figures they you should try at least one at some point. BB-8 comes with R2-D2 and while Bill has yet to assemble Artoo, he does recommend this kit to beginners. They need very little customization and are very quick to complete. These affordable kits are fun, relaxing, and fulfilling. Star Wars Destiny Trade Federation 85 wraps up with some Star Wars Destiny chat. Joe and Bill recap a few decks and games they played in the last week. And they look ahead to next week when the Knights of Ren podcast hosts are scheduled to join in.
