"El Bandera Roja" David Benavidez (26-0) 23 KOs blasts through David Lemieux to secure a portion of his old WBC Super-Middleweight title and become a 3x Champ for the WBC.  Will he get to unify the WBC strap vs CANELO or find himself across the ring from Caleb Plant, Demetrius Andrade, David Morrell or Jermall Charlo?Elsewhere in the desert, Zhanibek put Dignum to sleep in round 2 to win the interim WBO title at 160lbs.  He is now Andrade's mandatory and is bound to be a fight or so away from unifying against Jermall Charlo and/or his fellow countryman GGG.

Holly Holm became our fight game's only "FIRST-FIRST" after her legendary victory over Rousey in 2015.The decorated Holly has ammased a multitude of titles and is headed to Canastota, NY this June to be enshrined in the International Boxing Hall Fame.

Jermell Charlo put an end to any and all doubts, haters, questions, discussions, what have you regarding who the throne in the 154lb. division belongs to.  He stopped Brian Castano in their highly anticipated rematch and cemented his legacy while at it.B-Hop, Jermaine Taylor, Crawford, Usyk, Josh Taylor, Canelo & now Jermell Charlo joins the group of Undisputed Kings.Who do you think will be next to challenge "Ironman"??? .... My brother Joe joined me in breaking down the highly anticipated rematch for Super Welterweight Supremacy between Jermell "Ironman" Charlo (34-1-1) 18 KOs & "El Boxi" Brian Castano (17-0-2) 12 KOs.We managed to piece an episode together at 2:00 AM, accompanied by some good whiskey and cigars.  We took a deep dive into their first fight and the questionable decision.  We also breakdown the rematch and our path to victory for each fighter as we see it.  

Dmitrii Bivol (20-0) 11 KOs gets his hand raised and edges out a decision win against the odds, the judges and the boxing great Saul "CANELO" Alvarez (57-2-2) 39 KOs.  Bivol fought the perfect fight and managed to control the pace from beginning to end all the while not allowing CANELO to execute his plan.  Bivol can either look forward to an even bigger paycheck should a rematch with CANELO come to fruition or look to unify the division versus the winner of Beterbiev vs Smith Jr's showdown taking place mid-June 2022.

Katie Taylor (21-0) 6 KOs defended her throne against a game Amanda Serrano (42-2-1) 30 KOs.  This was a special and meaningful fight for not only women's boxing but for the sport in general.  Katie Taylor defended her titles in a closely contested fight versus a hungry and legend in her own right in Amanda Serrano.  It was an electrifying night at the Mecca of Boxing to say the least.Rumors for a rematch are underway and potentially headed to Katie's home country of Ireland.Also, we dive into the crossroads match-up between Smith vs Vargas and the fight for 168lb. SUPREMACY in women's boxing between Franchon Crews-Dezurn and Elin Cederroos.  

Shakur Stevenson (18-0) 9 KOs, out pointed and outboxed Oscar Valdez (30-1) 23 KOs.  Shakur handed Valdez the first loss of his career and looked amazing while doing it.  Shakur has unified the 130lb. Division and now holds the WBO, WBC & RING Magazine Lineal Titles.Let's hope that Oscar bounces back strong and for Shakur, the sky is the limit, and he has put Roger Gutierrez and Kenichi Ogawa on notice.

One belt remains for Errol Spence (28-0) 22KO's to conquer, and it happens to be around the waist of one Terrence Crawford.  Spence established control early in the night and eventually stopped Yordenis Ugas down the stretch.  Spence now has three of the four belts at Welterweight and is looking to unify the entire division prior to vacating and moving up to 154.We also dive in at the important matchups that took place earlier in the night during the undercard. 

Tyson Fury (32-0-1) 23 KO's battered Dillian Whyte and closed the show with a nasty right-hand uppercut.  His record remains unblemished, and we may very well have witnessed "The Gypsy King" for the final time.Will we see him face the likes of Joshua or Usyk or was this the final curtain call Tyson Fury?  

We breakdown the highly anticipated and long-awaited grudge match/ showdown between Amir Khan (34-5) 21KO's vs Kell Brook (39-3) 27KO's.The fight was agreed at a catch weight of 149lbs. which is a modified Welterweight limit of the traditional 147lb division limit. Both fighters made weight with Khan coming in a pound lighter than Brook at 147.5lbs, while "Special K" came in at 148.5lbs.Going on two decades in the making, this fight has all the signs of a classic. Let's hope it delivers and doesn't end in controversy. 

We dive into the current landscape of the Heavyweight Division and the Cruiserweight Division by way of Trevor Bryan and Ilunga Makabu.Trevor Bryan successfully defended his WBA World Heavyweight Title vs a game Jonathan Guidry and Ilunga Makabu managed to save his big looming "PAYDAY" by getting a decision win vs his old foe in Thabiso Mchunu.  By winning, Makabu now awaits a big purse in the form of a proposed showdown with none other than against Saul CANELO Alvarez.For Trevor Bryan, the path ahead for him looks tough.  He holds a title, but his days look numbered as he nears facing the top opposition of a stacked Heavyweight Division. 

Sergio "MARAVILLA" Martinez defeats Macaulay McGowan and improves his record to (55-3-2) 30 KOs.  This is his fourth victory since his return to the ring, dating back to August of 2020.  He has his sights set on becoming champion once again and is strategically working towards positioning himself for a shot at the WBA Middleweight Title.

The Filipino star improves to (24-0, 16 KOs) and hands Gary Russell Jr. (31-2, 18KOs) his second loss.  Magsayo not only got his hand raised but is now the WBC Featherweight Champ and shook things up in the 126 LB. Division.We not only dive into the fight but we give a full review and preview of things to come in the current Featherweight Division.

Stephen Fulton is awarded the decision over Brandon Figueroa in what was a closely contested fight.  It was a judge's nightmare to score but no controversy here......The right man won and Stephen Fulton's options open up as he can honor a rematch with Brandon Figueroa or seek to unify the division vs "MJ" Murodjon Akhmadaliev.

Teofimo is unable to make a single defense of any of his Titles as George Kambosos gets the decision win, puts a stop to "The Takeover" and lifts the WBA, WBO, IBF & RING Magazine Lightweight Belts from Lopez.  This was a sure shot candidate for Fight Of The Year (FOTY).Congratulations to Australian Boxing!!!!!George Kambosos will be present for Devin Haney's WBC Title defense vs "JoJo" Diaz next week in Las Vegas.

Kenichi Ogawa outpointed and powered through Azinga Fuzile to win the vacant IBF Super-Featherweight Title.Congratulations to Japanese Boxing, You have a new Champion!!!Who will attempt to unify and challenge Ogawa first.....Valdez, Shakur or Gutierrez???

Teofimo Lopez (16-0) 12 KO's will put his three Titles on the line vs George Kambosos (19-0) 10 KO's.The highly anticipated, long delayed match between these two is finally going to take place.135lb. WBA, IBF & WBO Lightweight Titles will be on the line.Also, Fuzile vs Ogawa will square off for the vacant IBF 130lb. Super-Featherweight Title. Plus, we revisit the Disputed-Undisputed debacle that Teofimo has been put through as we cover the WBC's 7-point stipulation for their "Franchise Champion"  

The Heartbreaker vs Cool Boy Steph face off in a WBC-WBO 122lb. unification bout.  The once delayed match-up is finally happening on Saturday night.

Let's play catch-up with the fights that you may have missed.  Several high profile fights with ranking and/or title implications took place these past few weeks and were placed as undercard match-ups, without attracting much notoriety. Julio Cesar Martinez was well on his way to stopping McWilliams Arroyo but the fight ended in a No Contest.   "MJ" Murodjon retains his titles and awaits the winner of Figueroa v Fulton.  Alicia Baumgardner shocked the world with her stoppage of Terri Harper as did the veteran Francisco "KIKO" Martinez with his KO win over Kid Galahad.  Kali Reis is on her way to becoming Undisputed at 140lbs.....plus much, much more!!!!!! 

Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade improves to (31-0) w 19 KO's and retains his Middleweight Title with an easy KO of Jason Quigley.Jaime Munguia improves to (38-0) w 30 KO's with a clean and decisive victory over "King" Gabe Rosado.  Also, we break down the current landscape of the 160lb. Middleweight division.
