It's our 50th Show!! Or, it was supposed to be, but we had some scheduling conflicts. This episode, we discuss in depth Chris Smith and his books about Disney World. We also discussed why we love Disney Parks, the detail and the magic they create and how Chris came to be a self proclaimed Disney historian as well as what is on the horizon for him. The Case of the IP Overlays: Three Caballeros v. Monsters Inc.

Monsters inc Mike and Sully to the Rescue is a much needed overlay of the much maligned, but somehow nostalgically missed opening day DCA attraction Super Star Limo. Listen to Dan, Erik and Jimmy as they discuss the history and detailed ride through of each attraction. Is the sudden and rather jarring transition from historical living postcard of Mexico to a day of the dead "It's a Small World" a good thing or a bad thing? Audrey went to Disneyland for the first time! I mean she went when she was like 5, but that doesn't count. Audrey, Dan and Jimmy recount their weekend at Disneyland. As AFOD's (Adult Fans of Disneyland) it is often difficult to recall the feeling you get when you really experience these parks for the first time. If you listen to our shows, odds are, you are Disney Parks fans. Listen to the gang offer a reasonable play by play of their weekend with Erik, friends of the show and a few fans. A large majority of the people we traveled with upgraded to a Magic Key! Was Audrey one of them? Listen to find out. This is a really fun one! The Case of the Launch Coasters: Rockin v Incredi
Rockin' Roller Coaster: Starring Aerosmith was the first Disney parks North America launch coaster and remains one of the most popular attractions at Hollywood Studios. Icredicoaster (formerly California Screamin') was, at the time, the longest steel roller coaster in the country. Both rides are spectacularly popoular, they both launch, they both have single rider line, they both have inversions. One has beloved IP, the other has Octogenarian rock stars. So, which is better? The case of the Musicals: Finding Nemo v Frozen (Feat. Vanessa Ray and Michelle London)
This is a very special episode of The Supreme Resort. On this episode, we welcomed Michelle London (Wicked, on Broadway) who performed the role of Elsa on the very last performance of this too short lived stage show Frozen, The Musical at Disney California Adventure. And Vanessa Ray (Pretty Little Liars, Blue Bloods) who originated the role of Nemo in Finding Nemo, The Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The two shared some fascinating details of what it was like to perform in these shows. Performing for a theme park audience, the audition process, their Disney fandom, various lifelong injuries received while performing in these shows and much, much more. Listen as Jimmy, Dan and Erik interview Michelle and Vanessa and discuss the history and origins of these two outstanding theme park experiences. Will Jimmy cry when fanboying at the end? The Case of the Tomorrowland Spinners: Orbitor v Orbiter
The Astro Orbitor at Disneyland is not a new attraction. A version of the attraction opened in 1956. Astro Orbiter opened in 1974 at Walt Disney World. We also discussed a great deal about pandemic weight gain and going to the parks. We discussed the new annual pass program at Disney World. We recorded this episode on 2 consecutive Sundays and between recordings, Jimmy got new super fast fiber internet and for some reason, his connection froze several times. Makes for sun editing and killer listening experience for you, our treasured listener. Will the fact that Astro Orbiter in Disney World is high, fast and thrilling be supreme? Or will the Astro Orbitor in Disneyland being visually appealing entrance statement of Tomorrowland reign supreme? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Case of Peter Pan's Flight: Disneyland v Magic Kingdom
Peter Pan's Flight is an opening day attraction at both Disneyland and The Magic Kingdom and has remained one of the most popular attractions with among the highest wait times in both parks. Is that because it has one of the lowest capacities and thus creates an artificial hype? You decide. Will the interactive queue at Magic Kingdom make it supreme? Or is that adding sour cream? Both attractions share a history and similar bottleneck location in their respective parks. Will the fact that Captain Hook's hook at Disneyland is on the wrong hand matter? Listen to Dan, Erik and Jimmy nerd out on this beloved attraction. Art by www.disnerland.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

So, it went on so long that we didn;t want to release a 3 hour long episode. So, Peter Pan comes out on September 5th. Here is a sizeable portion of that recording session. Enjoy!!
