Kesä vuonna 2020 poikkeaa aiemmista kesistä. Kesä vuonna 2020 on monen kohdalla hitusen verran hiljaisempi ja rauhallisempi. Kesä vuonna 2020 antaa meille mahdollisuuden uppoutua omiin ajatuksiin ja tarjoaa meille tilaa itsereflektoinnille. Projektissa mukana olevat runoilijat hakivat inspiraatioita runoille nopeasti muuttuneesta todellisuudesta. Projektin avulla myös tutkitaan vaihtoehtoisia tapoja, joilla runoilija voi olla vuorovaikutuksessa kuuntelijan kanssa ja löytää uusia yhteyksiä tekstin, tilan, luonnon, kaupungin, muuttuvan ihmisen ja ympäröivän maailman välillä. Лето 2020 — другое. Оно не похоже на те, что случались с нами раньше. Оно чуть более тихое и спокойное, без постоянного общения и шумных компаний, располагает к погружению в себя и рефлексии. Новая реальность вдохновила авторов проекта исследовать альтернативные способы взаимодействия со слушателем и находить новые связи между текстом, пространством, природой, городом, меняющимся человеком и окружающим миром. Summer 2020 is different. It is like none that has happened to us before. It is a bit calmer and more relaxed, with no busy socialising or noisy get-togethers, it facilitates self-immersion and reflection. The new reality inspired the authors of The Summer of Forking Lines to explore alternative ways to interact with the listener and find new connections among texts, spaces, nature, cities, evolving people and the world around.
