Eps 6: A new twist on the bucket list for doing what you love
Do you have big dreams for your future? Are you a bucket list kind of girl or guy? And realistically, how many of those cool things that you've decided on that you'd love in your life and to do in your lifetime are actually gonna happen for you? If you're sitting there going, you know what, Natalie? I don't think actually any of these things are gonna come off unless I make a plan or I set an intention, or I get really, really clear on my vision. You, my friend, are probably correct, and so today I'd like to introduce you to 50 in five. You might have heard of a bucket list, which is typically when you create a big, long list of all the things you'd love to do in this world. Some people have done a really awesome job of going after that bucket list and they'll usually set an intention for like 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, even a hundred things on their bucket list to do in a lifetime. Now I would like to challenge you to actually go after fewer things in a shorter period of time with this concept of 50 in 5.That's because we often underestimate what we can achieve in a three, five, or 10 plus year timeframe, and we overestimate what we can achieve in a year. So rather than setting yourself up for failure and trying to put 20 or 30 things to do on your list in the next year, I wanna invite you to create a bigger, longer term vision for yourself and make this a fun journey and adventure. Eps 5: Time Management for Busy People - Intentional Calendar
If you're the kind of person who's week is often full on and chaotic, and you feel like you have no way to take control of your life, let alone that of your family's then it's time you implemented the Intentional Calendar. Think of this as life planning made easy, and time management made easier especially when you're juggling young kids, working from home and wanting to have a life with more freedom. The Intentional Calendar is simple at heart - it's about being more intentional about how you want to spend your time, then scheduling that time in a calendar for all to see, so you are clear on what's your time, work time, family time and play time. It's a transformative tool when you invest 30-60 minutes upfront to plan it out and set it up as the new rhythm for your life. Listen in or watch below to learn how. Eps 1 Why you don't have the life you want yet
Most people I meet don't actually know the first thing about what they want out of life. And if I ask them what their perfect day looks like or their ideal life, 95% of people can't actually explain that to me with any clarity or specific. And that is a scary thing, because it's your life at the end of the day, and if you are leaving it up to the universe, or just anything that could happen to you, then it's probably not necessarily gonna turn out the way that you want unless you take it by the horns and you design it in the way that you intend it to be and how you truly want to live your life. In this episode you'll learn: Why it's up to you to visualise your ideal life daily The Perfect Day Exercise and why it works How to use this for yourself How to download the free Perfect Day Exercise Template   Get your free Perfect Day Exercise template here too http://lifepilot.co/001 Hosted on Acast. I'm gonna talk you through how we do a bunch of these things. I'm gonna talk you through what experts and I guess lifestyle designers do in this space to really, truly live with intention and live a life that they truly freaking love and not tomorrow and not next week, and not a year down the track, or not five years down the track when you have all the things that you think you're gonna need to live it. But starting right now, starting today. Eps 146: Final Episode: It's official. I'm outta here!
So here we are. The final episode of the Untapped podcast...for now.  As of December 1st I'm pausing my business, my team is 'on call' only and I'm heading off social media for all of the month, perhaps longer. Why? As a business owner I get to make decisions around what's important to me and right now, nothing is more important than precious time with my darling son Leonardo Valison. He's turning 4 months on December 9th and I've simply decided to take more time off to enjoy every moment. In this final episode I share:  ✅ Why I'm beyond grateful I've set up my business to tick along without me. ✅ Why I've closed my $10K Club for now and am not launching or running any more of my courses live.  I'm financially independent enough to do this, thanks to investing smartly in my future from age 21, but more so since having this business. ✅ How being financial independent and investing smartly has allowed me to do this  ✅ What business I intend to dive into in 2022....when the time is right ✅ Why and how I'm taking a social media sabbatical for all of December I'd love for you to get in touch via email on natalie@nataliesisson.com if you've enjoyed this podcast, if you want to share anything, or simply say hello and give me ideas for 2022 Natalie. I'll get back to you in the New Year! In the meantime feel free to grab a copy of my book Suck it up, Princess, head on over to Amazon and become the heroine you already are. Hosted on Acast. This is a rerun of the best of the best from the Untapped Podcast. The original episode show notes are here: https://nataliesisson.com/044 How can emotional resilience help you hit your goals? And what the heck is emotional resilience anyway? Well you’re about to find out in this episode of UNTAPPED when you listen into my great conversation with Kim Ades. Kim is the President and Founder of Frame of Mind Coaching and JournalEngine Software and is a recognized as an expert in the area of thought mastery. She uses her unique philosophy and quirky coaching style to help her clients deal with core issues and shift their thinking in order to yield extraordinary results. I first had Kim on my Suitcase Entrepreneur podcast 4 years ago where we chatted about limiting beliefs and how to overcome them. What Kim shared was really valuable, and my listeners thought so too because that episode soon became one of the most downloaded! So, when Kim reached out to me about coming back on the show, of course I said yes! This time, Kim is back to share her 15 years of expertise on how to reach a goal. Often times, we’re capable of creating a plan of attack, but where we fall off is in the actual delivery of that plan. Kim explains that this isn’t because we’re not taking action but because our thoughts aren’t aligned with our goals. And since every action starts with a thought, it’s vital that your beliefs match your expectations. Make sure you tune into this episode because it really is a treat. Plus, it comes at the perfect time of the year with 2020 quickly approaching. If you’re ready to stop letting your beliefs hold you hostage and finally reach your goals, then hit the play button below! Eps 143: 6 Rules to Finish What You Start with Natalie Sisson (The best of UNTAPPED Series)
This is a rerun of the best of the best from the Untapped Podcast. The original episode show notes are here: https://nataliesisson.com/016 Given we all have 24 hours in a day, I’m constantly surprised by how many people squander that precious time and waste it on things they know they shouldn’t be doing. I see this all the time with my friends, loved ones and my peers, and do my best to share my knowledge on habits, time management and tools to help them.  Most of the time they end up resenting where their time went and what they didn’t achieve. So how can you avoid this? Well, you can start by listening to this podcast episode where I divulge the 6 Rules to Finishing What You Start. I’ve read my fair share of books and one of the most inspiring is Peter Hollin’s “Finish What You Start”.  In this book, he shares his lifelong curiosity around how we manage our time and also why we don’t finish the things that we start. He then goes into a plethora of practical ways to reclaim our time and actually get things done! One of the methods he suggests, that I found to be a real eye-opener, is creating a manifesto. A manifesto, in his words, is nothing more than a set of rules to follow everyday. By having this manifesto as your guiding principle, you immediately place a value on your time and activities that makes you prioritize what’s important, and it acts as a guiding star for any new projects you may want to start, and to avoid any distractions that will inevitably come your way. He also shares 6 rules to finishing what you start, and I divulge these on this podcast episode, but in a nutshell they are: Rule 1: Are you acting out of laziness? If so, is this a characterization you want about yourself? Rule 2: Three major tasks a day, maximum. Rule 3: Create daily limitations and requirements for yourself. Rule 4: Reaffirm your intentions by stating “I want,” “I will,” and “I won’t” statements. Rule 5: Try to look into the future, 10 minutes, hours, and days at a time. Do you like what you see when you consider not following through? Rule 6: It’s just 10 minutes, right? So if you want to quit, it’s just 10 minutes. And if you need to wait, it’s just 10 minutes. I go into more detail on what each of these rules means and how to apply them and also share  How to write a manifesto How to reaffirm your intentions Resources Read this book by Peter Hollins – Finish What You Start: The Art of Following Through, Taking Action, Executing, & Self-Discipline  Read this book by Chris Guillebeau – The Art of Non-Conformity LifePilot – my system and methodology for turning your dreams into reality that lets you map out your life and goals each quarter, month, week and every day. Eps 142: Four Steps to Self Motivation with Natalie Sisson (The best of UNTAPPED Series)
This is a rerun of the best of the best from the Untapped Podcast. The original episode show notes are here: https://nataliesisson.com/008 So, here’s a question for you: Just how self-motivated are you? Are you prepared to take charge of your goals and achievements? Or do you set goals, knowing you won’t really work towards them, because they scare your or are too complex? This came up as a question from one of our lovely member’s Helen, in our Life Pilot Members’ Lounge call this week. She shared the Mind Tools – The Self-Motivation Quiz with us. I was curious about how self-motivated I was and figured I’d come out with a high score – just because this is one of my strengths – my internal motivation to be my best self, stretch myself and grow. My total score was 51/60 which put me right up there, and piqued my curiosity as to what a high level of self-motivation actually meant, and how you could improve it. Self-motivation is a fundamental tool for reaching your goals, achieving your dreams and succeeding in life. In this podcast you’ll learn: Four factors necessary to build the strongest levels of self-motivation you can The key ways to build self-confidence and self-efficacy How to identify your strengths and use them How to apply the power of positive thinking to your life Five goal setting principles that can improve our chances of success Oh and the fourth factor is an external one, and it’s the reason behind my rather exciting news and a rather big change in how I work starting next week. Resources: The Self-Motivation Quiz by Mind Tools LifePilot is our tool and methodology for turning your dreams into reality that lets you map out your life and goals each quarter, month, week and every day. Check it out here.
