He has also worked with a number of musicians and has been on two nation-wide tours making art in live concert settings. Julie was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1978. and at 6 weeks old she was adopted. Coming to the United States at the age of 18, she attend college with a major in psychology. The story that Julie is telling today is this. Julie has OCD. She can remember at the age of 4 that something was different. She has used her disorder to help others. She believes that if she can help just one person having OCD, then this journey dealing with it, has been worth it. Julie has been married to her husband Andy for 13 years now and they both have a beautiful daughter who is 3. For 4 years Julie and Andy both host a podcast called Living With OCD where they interview and have conversations with others who are also going through this disorder. This is her story. Back in September 22 I posted on our website ways for people to tell their story on our podcast. There are 3 options. 1-To be on the show. 2- to email us your story and we would read it on the show. and number 3- to allow us to post it on our website. Our next story was received not to long after we made this post. Her name is Anna. Anna is 27 years old and is currently teaching 3rd and 4th grade special ed. She wrote to us that she would like to take option 2 or 3 and for us to decide. After reading her story, Rachel and I knew we had to get permission to read her story on air. -paul In Anna's Email, she told us that one day soon she will put HER voice to HER story, but today is not that day. Anna went on to say in her email "This is an answered prayer. I have been praying for closure. Searching for a way to seal the past and move forward. This is it. This is my Story."
