Working with my own voice was getting dreary and depressing, and all good podcasts need a good companion, which I dont currently have. Therefore here we are with a new format moving forward. From now on each show will be a monthly radio show free of talking, just field recording soundscapes. some may be more experimental than others but the basic rule is that they can only consists of sounds generated by field recordings. This month we have a day in the life of Portland Maine. Starting with birds around midday in baxter woods and moving across the city to the east end for nightfall until we find ourselves back in the woods for the peepers dusk concert. Episode three features the sounds from my recent release, Binaural Sound Map #1. 6 different locations in southern maine all recorded in Binaural. I explain what that means and a little about each location. 

This podcast features recordings from a BLM protest in Portland, Maine. I offer just a little background on the events as well as the response from the police and the city of Portland. We will get back into nature recordings on the next episode, but this stuff is important! Black Lives Matter!
