In our series finale on Viktor Frankl and his incredible book, Man's Search For Meaning, we conclude by breaking down one of his greatest works - Viktors unique perspective on psychology called logotherapy. Episode 21: Viktor Frankl - Finding Light Amongst The Darkest Nights
Our newest series on the podcast brings you one of the most impactful thinkers and individuals of the 20th century. A man who braved the horrors of the Nazi internment camps of World War 2 and through it, came out with some of the most profound insights on the human spirit. He witnessed what we are capable of both the bad and the good, how we can take on the most adverse circumstances and find meaning amongst it all. This incredible person is none other than Viktor Frankl and his book Man's Search For Meaning. This novel by far has had the greatest impact on me personally out of all the books featured on this podcast. It was even heralded by our own Library of Congress as one of the most influential books in US history. Needless to say, I highly suggest you pick up a copy of Man's Search for Meaning for yourself, to not only support Viktor Frankl but to also read it for yourself and see what priceless insights you may glean from such a phenomenal book. Episode 19: Elon Musk - Reimagining Today For A Better Tomorrow Pt.2
In our series finale, we finish our dive into the doge coin master himself, Elon Musk. After making his way to America, he began his entrepreneurial journey by creating his very first company Global Link. But this new company along with many others he started, had humble beginnings. Sleeping inside his own office building, showering at the YMCA, and eating off glorious dollar menus to make it by. But his leap of faith, coupled with his insane work ethic paid off in spades. Eventually selling off his first start-up 300 million, then parlaying his new fortune into the soon-to-be PayPal that massively expanded his bank account upon its sale. Equipped with all the money anyone could ever want he invested every penny he had into SpaceX and Tesla, simultaneously aiming to revolutionize the space and car industry. This gamble was not without risk, with amassing failures and bankruptcy knocking on his door. The loss of his dreams and everything he's sacrificed for were mere moments away. So how in the world did Elon turn seemingly destined failure into massive successes? And what can we learn from it all? You'll have to tune in to find out. Our series primarily pulled from Ashlee Vance's biography called Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future. Alongside Elon's company websites and various other sources to give you all the latest information on Elon and what he's been up to as of late. Please support Ashlee Vance by picking up a copy of his excellent account of Elon's life and the various in-depth details behind his projects up until 2015. Episode 18: Elon Musk - Reimagining Today For A Better Tomorrow
Our newest series is taking a futuristic turn, as we begin our dive into Elon Musk's origin story: how did he get to where he is today and become one of the leading forces in innovating the next generation of life as we know it. Elon's life has not been an easy one, it is not a tale of being born into money and enjoying a series of one success after another. It is a journey filled with heart, determination, bouncing back from setback after setback, and not accepting failure as a final result. Staring bankruptcy, and the potential loss of all he's sacrificed straight in the face yet not backing down. Our series will primarily pull from Ashlee Vance's biography called Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future. Alongside Elon's company websites and various other sources to give you all the latest information on Elon and what he's been up to as of late.
