I sat down with three of the volunteers from Canton Sunday Picnic and learned about the great work that these difference makers do each and every week for anyone who is hungry.

I spoke with Carol Lichtenwalter about the work that the staff and volunteers at Pegasus Farm do to help people reach their potential.      

Sandy Muirhead-Gould and Wes Rasmussen, of Stark Community Toastmasters, regularly visit the young men at Indian River Correctional Facility. Using the a version of Toastmasters International curriculum, they volunteer their time with other club members to give these incarcerated youth the opportunity to tell their stories and practice invaluable leadership skills.

Ernie and Debbie, long-time business owners in Stark County, head up the group MAGI, which consists of a group of volunteers who look after the trails in Massillon. They have been instrumental in improving our local trails and have made tremendous contributions of their time, skills, and expertise to support outdoor activities throughout the area.
