Neil responds to Carton and Roberts beating The Michael Kay show in the ratings book, tries to explain why Michael Kay doesn't like him, and discusses gaining the trust of Mike Francesa. Best and Steve also talk about the NHL rights package, the possibility of more Mike and the Mad Dog, and Ivy League hockey. Also, Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock(001:03:03) joins us to talk about their new book about the 1980's hard rock and heavy metal. The guys talk about deciding to write an oral history, hint at a movie about the book, and try to explain why John Bon Jovi is trying to pretend he didn't make hard rock and heavy metal music in the 1980's. Also, the guys talk about Skid Row and their feud with Sebastian Bach, the rise of grunge and its affect on 80's rock, and they end it all by creating super groups of the era.
