SpoilerDiacre: Far From Home
Daryl was on vacation but that didn't stop him from watching movies and shows. 5 movies were watched on an airplane: - Bohemian Rhapsody - Robin Hood - The Upside - Isn’t It Romantic - Crazy Rich Asians Stranger Things 3 was watched mostly on a laptop in hotel rooms. But the movie from which this episode gets its name, Spiderman: Far From Home, was watched in a theater in London.

MZiB: Musical Zombies in Black
My last episode until the end of July features 4 movies split into 2 sections. The first section is about 2 musical movies.AladdinRocketmanThe other 2 movies don’t really have much overlap, other than perhaps comedy. They were:The Dead Don’t DieMen In Black: InternationalAladdin and Rocketman were watched in the same night. I had lots to compare and contrast. The Dead Don’t Die was a movie I went to with a Patreon patron. That’s not even a perk, he just invited me to go. Finally, MIB:International was my father’s day treat. I hope you get as much treat out of this episode as I did watching the movies ;)

Good Omens for David Kirkman
Daryl has mentioned on occasion how he was a fan of Milestone comics. He's also mentioned the new short (45 mins!!) fan film of Static Shock titled "Static" that is based on the Dakota City character first created in the early 90's. Well this episode features his interview with the Director of that film, David Kirkman. That interview starts at about the 10 minute mark. Before that Daryl gives he review on the new show on Amazon Prime Video, "Good Omens." A mini-series based on the book of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Brightburn! Or maybe it’s Flash! Actually it is both. I may not like them, but a friend invited me to a horror movie. How could I say no? I didn’t. So, what did I think? I don’t normally like horror. Did I like this? I finally got caught up to the end of Flash Season 5. I discuss how I felt about the wrap up to the season. How I felt about the whole season arc. And the 3 big bads that were in it.

Endgame, Cobra Kai & Spoilers
My latest podcast where I get pretty worked up about "spoiler" worries. I also talk about season 2 of Cobra Kai and Avengers:Endgame. This one has some strong language and hand gestures because I'm pretty worked up.

For this episode I got on my soapbox about people are tired of the types of movies that are coming out of Hollywood. It may have been incoherent rambling, but have a look & listen then decide. After that I discussed the latest incarnation of Hellboy. I saw it this past weekend and I liked it more than the reviewers seemed to.

Lex Luthor & Squirrel Girl
No, it’s not an amazing team up of DC villain and Marvel hero. It’s a new episode of The Spoilers with Diacre. Daryl has caught up on the latest episodes of Supergirl and wants to discuss Lex Luthor, as played by Jon Cryer. Also, a different podcast has turned him on the The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and he has a review for you. Let’s get nuts.

Daryl (Diacre) got to see an early viewing event of the new DC & Warner Brothers movie, Shazam! We all know he likes just about everything, but what did he like and what didn't he? Who should see it, and who should stay home? This episode is 99% focused on Shazam! with only the occasional tangent.
44 minutes | Mar 7, 2019
It's time for Daryl to go it alone as the WD in our various online accounts now stands for "with Daryl." With that in mind, Daryl just saw Captain Marvel and wanted to talk about every tangent he could find with it. What made him cry before the movie started? How was the Stan Lee cameo? Is Goose a cat? Those questions and more will be answered, while others will be rambled on about.

Expanding the Spoilerverse
Wayne and I were feeling as if the podcast was not really an expression of who we really are. We decided that our phrase "we talk about what excites us, and what annoys us, without holding back," is a lot larger than what we have been doing. So, we let loose the floodgates and start going without any clue where we'll end up. We end up talking about twitch streaming, Titan Games, and a long segment about comics. So much more than Marvel vs. DC. But what is great about Marvel and where are they going.

Spoiling a Mysterio(us) Trailer - Episode #60
We moved away from our normal talk about blockbusters this week, as we started the episode discussing “The Wife” starring Glenn Close. It was a tense drama with no special effects, other than Ms. Close’s acting ability. Also outside the blockbusting movies is the YouTube re-release of “The Legend of Neil” Series. A man gets sucked into the Legend of Zelda while playing the game and with himself. You should watch it if you like stupid, crude humor. Not completely leaving big, budget movies behind Wayne and Daryl wrapped up the episode talking about the trailer for “Spiderman: Far From Home.” They had favorite parts. And, Wayne educated us all on the character Mysterio.

Spoilin' The New Year
We start the new year off with a huge episode. Of course we cover the movies we watched at the end of the year. Those being Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse and Aquaman. But we also go through the plethora of movies we saw and/or discussed in 2018. We also picked our top 5 (Endgame excluded) each for 2019.

Maybe we'll improvise
We hit this episode without a plan. So what do a couple of improvisers do? We make it up on the spot. From Daryl doing a bad rendition of “It’s all the way live” to actual discussions about things, we’ve got you covered. Things we discussed: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina The Good Place Wayne’s talks Stan Lee
51 minutes | Nov 12, 2018
It is with a heavy heart that we start this episode having to say good-bye to The Man, Stan Lee. He will be missed, because there is so much to remember. This episode was recorded before we found out the news though. So, we talked about Bohemian Rhapsody. Wayne and Daryl have been excited to see it and Wayne finally did. He weighs in on the good, the bad, the ridiculous. We also have a long discussion about the state of Netflix. What will it become now that it is leaving Marvel behind? Is it still a great source of entertainment?

Daryl took his 14 day trial of Epix to watch Get Shorty. A show based off of the book by Elmore Leonard. This show stars Chris O'Dowd, known for lots of stuff but hilariously from the IT Crowd. Daryl loved the movie based off the book and likes Chris O'Dowd so he thought he'd give it a shot. The pros and the cons of the show and an Epix subscription are discussed.
