Songhacks Episode 2 - with guest Iain Lowery
Al's long time friend and musical collaborator Iain Lowery joins him once again in this second episode of the Songhacks podcast. Around two years ago Iain and Al wrote the song Mothers Little Soldier specifically as the centrepiece for a podcast series that, for a variety of reasons, got shelved. Al decided to resurrect the material, finish it off and release it as part of Songhacks. There's a recording, from 2013 of Iain responding to questions that Al sent him followed by a more recent interview. After that Al and Iain discuss the collaboration and analyse the song they wrote. Includes three tracks by Iain Lowery: My Old Good Friend Birthday 2.2 Cold Metal Frame All of which are available at: https://lowery.bandcamp.com/ More detailed show notes at www.songhacks.uk
