In today`s meditation, we will change your brain and body to look like the event has already happened. NeuroScience believes that this is possible, so much so that your body is your unconscious mind and you begin to signal new genes and new ways. Today we will step outside of that familiar feeling - we are going to move away from the comfortable - the predictable. We are going to take a step into the unknown - facilitating change commences with inhibiting the choices that you have previously made - when we stop this behaviour our life becomes uncomfortable because your body is not getting that familiar feeling - you, therefore, are beginning to signal new genes that create different patterns of behaviour. In this meditation you will teach your body a new way of thinking - you will show your body what it feels like to achieve what you desire - you will commence the training of your body to respond to the emotions of abundance. Ep73:VeraVentura - Moving from Breast Cancer Survivor to Thriver - A story of hope and positivity amidst chaos
In November 2019, Vera was diagnosed with Stage 1 & 2 bilateral breast cancer. It was a total surprise. For the last 15 years. she had completely eliminated processed flour, sugar, alcohol and drugs via work in a 12-step recovery program for an eating disorder. She was a yoga teacher, meditated daily and some would say she was the "pinnacle" of health. Vera learned that in her case, health didn't matter. She inherited a deadly genetic cocktail of mutated cells that if unchecked would kill her. It did for her grandmother and my father. Since then, she has been walking through the cancer journey incorporating mental and spiritual practices, yoga, and DoTERRA essential oils and supplements, that have helped her THRIVE during this time.

Kelly Maloney is a Transgender woman and former boxing promoter once known by the name of Frank Maloney who famously managed Lennox Lewis - throughout his career to become the World Heavy Weight Champion. It came as a great shock to the boxing world and Kellie's family when she revealed she was transgender and decided to live her life as Kelly rather than Frank. In 2015 after years of hiding her truth from the world and in many instances herself. Kellie made the brave decision to transition to become female. Many of us go through life hiding because sometimes the consequences are too painful to face - that is why I loved speaking with this inspirational, courageous lady. Ep69:MONDAY MEDITATION/VISULISATION TO HELP ALLIEVIATE DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY
Today's meditation is a Fantasy therapy. Fantasies (Guided Imagery) are extremely useful as an additional therapeutic tool. Fantasies are usually a suitable method of holding individual attention whilst waiting for the sub-conscious mind to be ready to bring out new material. Fantasies can bring about insight and recommended if you are ’cycling’, i.e. just not making any progress. The Cloud/Sun fantasy is a desensitisation exercise which helps a client to focus on negative thoughts and feelings and then to focus on what he/she wants for the future. This is a particularly useful one for individuals who have ’free-floating anxiety’. They know there is something wrong, but don't quite know what, or where it came from. To relax and prime the subconscious mind, I start today's session with a distraction induction and then the fantasy therapy. EP64: ZOETURNER -MEDITATION MONDAY - My 40 K Visualisation/NLP Technique
10 years ago when I lived in the Uk, I was desperately unhappy in my job as a child protection social worker, managing a property portfolio of a few houses that I had invested and trying to juggle a part-time Hypnotherapy Practice - I was burnt out Unfulfilled and, miserable. I moved to Dubai to pursue a career in the cut-throat world of financial services. In this podcast, I share with you a practice that I did daily for as long as I can remember which I wholeheartedly believe contributed to my success. It wasn't easy and did NOT happen overnight but gradually over time with consistency, determination and self-belief I did it - within 14 months I was regularly taking home 20 - 40 K a month I genuinely believe that the few minutes a day I invested in visualisation helped me achieve what I did. After a few successful years in the industry, I decided to leave as I didn't feel fulfilled, but the technique I used then is still one I use today regularly.

It is easy to mask emotions to avoid pain - this meditation is not about ignoring the pain I urge you to allow yourself to feel the pain and any other emotion - and be patient with the process.
