#4 Hit It and Quit It
Most Americans are familiar with the major wars. Vietnam. World War I. Civil War. Desert Storm. But, what about the obscure military operations? Not the top secret stuff, but the incidents and operations that were major news stories at the time and then faded into history.  In Episode 4, we talk about the times the military went into a hostile area, got the job done and then headed home. We have a guest host, Dan Wilden, who graced us with his presence and to share his favorite Hit it and Quit It story. Listen to Phil talk about the Berlin Airlift, John talk about all the times the Marines went to China, and Brian talks about the DMZ. Dan tells us our Medal of Honor story this week, SGT Funk from WWII who went full turbo on a platoon of Germans and that isn't even the craziest part of the story.
