How to Navigate Imposter Syndrome with Patricia Suggs
I don’t know why, but it always surprises me when a woman shares that she feels that she’s a fraud and isn’t qualified to be doing what she’s doing. On the outside, she appears to have it all together and is succeeding and inspiring others but that’s not what she feels on the inside.   It’s funny that I find it surprising because which each new venture I take on, that fear creeps in. Who am I to be doing this? I ask myself. The lesson is that no matter what level someone may reach, that feeling of doubt can rear its ugly head.   Joining me today is Patricia Suggs, an internationally known speaker and bestselling author, the CEO and Founder of ARISE Leadership Consulting, the CEO of PKS Publishing, and a Trainer/Facilitator.   Today we’re diving into imposter syndrome, and we chat about:   Characteristics of imposter syndrome Techniques to work through the syndrome How to transform perfectionism into healthy ways to succeed Connect with Patricia at patricia@pksuggscoaching.net   To grab your copy of Your Journaling Journey search for it on Amazon or with these links:   Canada: https://amzn.to/3ACRHla USA: https://amzn.to/3B0A28l   Remember to Find Your Calm in the Chaos with my 7 Day Kick Start Journal   Follow The Roller Coaster: Facebook @therollercoasterpodcast Instagram @the_roller_coaster_podcast Pinterest @EmpoweredMidlifeMoms YouTube: @TheRollerCoasterPodcast TikTok @rollercoaster_podcast

How to Find Your Spark in Midlife with Michelle DeKeyser
Many of us moms, spend the better part of two decades putting everything we have into our kids, husband, and home. We often forget about ourselves until one day it feels like a big spotlight is shining on everything we’ve neglected for years. It can feel like the ground beneath you is opening and you wish it would just swallow you up. Anything to stop the voice in your head asking, “So who are you now?”   Joining me today is Michelle DeKeyser, who in 2020, realized that she needed something more and started a journey of self-exploration.   In this episode we chat about: The dangers of putting everything into our kids without investing time/money in ourselves Finding your spark through connection How disconnection has become a bad habit   Connect with Michelle at www.connectingmamas.com and on Instagram @mama_connector   To grab your copy of Your Journaling Journey search for it on Amazon or with these links:   Canada: https://amzn.to/3ACRHla USA: https://amzn.to/3B0A28l Remember to Find Your Calm in the Chaos with my 7 Day Kick Start Journal   Follow The Roller Coaster: Facebook @therollercoasterpodcast Instagram @the_roller_coaster_podcast Pinterest @EmpoweredMidlifeMoms YouTube: @TheRollerCoasterPodcast TikTok @rollercoaster_podcast

How Energy Work Can Bring Healing in Midlife with Laurin Wittig
As I progress into my midlife years, I’ve come to its more than a list of symptoms to be cured or endured, it’s a transformation. There is beautiful wisdom honed by midlife women, this wisdom can bring clarity, joy and purpose. E275 - Why Art Journaling Can Heal Us with Stacy Reck
Stacy Reck teaches art journaling to heal. Early in her counselling career, Stacy led a grief and loss group. One night the room felt very heavy, and no one wanted to share. In that moment of awkwardness, she broke out some crayons, paper, and music and had everyone draw their feelings. From that one night, everything she knew about mental health shifted and changed. Stacy is a Holistic Counselor with training in Expressive Arts, Jungian Psychology, Dream Mythology, and Holistic Leadership and is certified in Past-Life Regression Therapy. Art has this magical way of healing the body, mind, and soul. Art journaling helps you relax, solve problems, and keep track of your process. Truly, it’s not about being an artist but a way to tell a story and work through your feelings and emotions. It’s a meditative process where you can find peace and even happiness. Why being you is the best thing to be. Perfection is overrated! Messy IS the new perfect. How spending time with yourself in the quiet, doing something you enjoy, can heal you. You don't need to be an artist or good at art to use art journaling as a way to heal.
