#07 - Lauren Trantham, Ride My Road
A conversation with Lauren Trantham, founder of Ride My Road. Lauren is a photographer, motorcyclist, licensed pilot, dancer, martial artist … the list goes on and on! She’s one of those people who practically oozes passion for life. Her passion is also evident in her work through her charity, Ride My Road, which is helping to fight against domestic sex trafficking. We talk about how she turned her personal heartbreak into a mission to help others - riding 10,000 miles on her motorcycle across America last year raising funds for survivors of domestic sex trafficking. We also discuss the extent of the sex trafficking problem in America, how trafficking is portrayed in the media vs what it looks like in real life and what can be done to help fight demand.
