Episode 53: "The Trinity Goes To The Movies, Battinson Is Officially In (While Hammer Is Officially Out), Catwoman, More!"
This week's episode of The Revengers Podcast opens with the trio of Vanessa Lee Bontea, Brett Thomas Miro, and Mario-Francisco Robles sharing their thoughts about what's currently playing in theaters since they just so happen to have seen four out of the top five films at the box office. This means they sound off on Aladdin, Godzilla: King of The Monsters, Rocketman, and John Wick: Chapter 3. From there, the RTF Trinity shifts gears and reacts to the now official news that Robert Pattinson is the new Batman. But first, MFR shares his final thoughts on the scoop that turned out...not to be a scoop. You know the one. About Armie Hammer being in final talks to play Batman back in February. He's had time to reflect and make additional inquiries, and so he delivers his closing remarks on what happened, why it happened, and why he's not mad he wrote the story. Then they turn their attention to who they'd want to cast as Catwoman if it's true that she's in Matt Reeves' The Batman, and they wrap up with a little AEW talk since Vanana is a wrestling fan and we've yet to hear what she thought of last week's Double or Nothing PPV.

Episode 52: "THE BATMAN: Battinson(?), Rumored Rogues, And Way More"
For this week's episode of The Revengers: The Official Movie & TV Podcast of Revenge of The Fans, the Trinity is short one Vanana...so MFR reached out to his brother from another mother, Robb Moreira of the Play It LOUDCast, to join him and Brett for a spirited discussion on all things The Batman. From the latest casting rumors, to the controversy surrounding the "announcement" of Robert Pattinson last week, to who our favorite Caped Crusader may face in Matt Reeves' movie, who they'd cast in key roles, and even the world they hope to see Reeves create for the Dark Knight, the trio leaves no stone unturned in terms of digging into the latest buzz around The Batman.

Ep. 51- "ENDGAME's Time Travel Issues and That FAR FROM HOME Trailer"
This week's episode has a near singular focus: Marvel's Avengers: Endgame and its epilogue- a little film called Spider-Man: Far From Home. Our Revenger Trinity opens with their reaction to Monday's brand new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, which eventually leads into a discussion about the multiverse and other byproducts of what was done in Avengers: Endgame. They then spend the heart of the episode discussing some of the issues that have arisen as more people have questioned whether or not the time travel in the film makes any sense. Along the way, Brett claims to have figured out how it all works(!), Vanana points out how Endgame connects to her infamous hammock story, and MFR shares some knowledge on why Avatar is a masterpiece (and Brett is not having it).

Ep. 49- "AVENGERS: ENDGAME Predictions, Trashing First Looks, Legacy Sequels, and HOBBS AND SHAW!"
With Avengers: Endgame set to arrive in theaters this Friday, The Trinity spends the first chunk of this week's The Revengers Podcast discussing the monumental cinematic event. From sharing where their current hype is, to who they expect to get killed off, how they think it'll end, and where they'd like to see the Marvel Cinematic Universe go next...there's a lot to talk about. From there Vanessa, Brett, and MFR touch on a few other interesting topics, including: The Goonies: Would it (and other nostalgic favorites) be better off getting a sequel TV series like Cobra Kai, as opposed to being remade, rebooted, or sequelized? Aladdin: Will Smith and Guy Ritchie respond to how overly critical people are on the internet these days, and we reply by discussing that growing trend and whether it's fair or not. Hobbs and Shaw: The world was just treated to its newest look at the upcoming blockbuster, and it's absurdly over-the-top. The Trinity goes around the pike, sharing what they thought of the trailer and whether they'll see the movie. And, as usual, more.

From MFR's non-spoiler thoughts on Aquaman, to the trio revealing their Best and Most Disappointing movie experiences of the year, to a long form discussion on the spotlight be shone onto a controversial topic thanks to Bohemian Rhapsody, there's a lot to discuss here. Is it still possible to separate the art from the artist in 2018? Are we as a society still willing to say "Hey, I may think you're despicable. And I'd never want to shake your hand. But I love what you create and will continue to support that, in spite of what I think of you"? Traditionally speaking, we've always been able to do that. Yet that seems to be evolving, so MFR, Vanessa, and Brett share where they personally stand on the Court of Public Opinion and the way folks are choosing to dispatch of perceived evildoers. Aside from that heady discussion, The Revengers also touch on all kinds of current topics. From giving Vanessa, who is of Singaporean heritage, a chance to react to Crazy Rich Asians bombing in China and Marvel developing a Shang Chi film, to discussing what they've been watching lately (including some initial thoughts from MFR about the recent Arrowverse crossovers), and their wishes for you- their wonderful listeners- as we prepare to ring in the new year, it's a loaded conversation. And be sure to stay until the very end for bloopers!
