Ep. 7: Raising Awareness for Pediatric Brain Cancer with Andrew Kaczynski

The Kaczynskis were one of about just 60 families a year to find out their child has a rare type of pediatric brain cancer called Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (ATRT). On today’s episode, Andrew Kaczynski, a journalist at CNN, is joining us to share the story of his infant daughter, Francesca, and their journey with her cancer in order to help raise awareness of this rare disease, as well as highlight the glaring disparity that exists in the amount of research funding pediatric cancers receive compared to adult cancers. If you are as moved by her story as we are, we hope you will take a moment to donate your time or money to pediatric brain cancer research. You can make a difference for rare pediatric cancers through donations or by getting involved!
