The Recovering Misanthrope Podcast – Episode 8 – Why do we do what we do?
Life’s Questions – Why Do We Do What We Do? Life’s Questions are numerous, but none is greater than “Why do we do what we do?” In this episode Will talks about Tony Robbins’ 6 Core Human needs, which he believes help answer why we do what we do. He also talks about a few additional reasons he believes. Life’s Questions don’t always have easy answers, but the more you think and talk about them, the easier getting to your best life becomes. That’s the point of the RMP. That’s in this episode! The Recovering Misanthrope Podcast – Episode 3 – Monday’s (Don’t) Suck
Monday Does Not Suck. Monday is simply an entry on the calendar. Like all of the other days there are 24 hours and 1,440 minutes in Monday. Yet, the hear people talk about Monday you’d think that maybe it had double that amount of time, or worse, maybe being alive on Monday meant some sort of “death sentence?” Why then do we treat it like the red headed step-child? Why have we grown to hate this day of the week so much? Because our perspective is flawed? Maybe, but I think it’s deeper than that. I talk about some of the reasons why I think we’ve grown to hate the day so much and why I think it’s the best damn day of the week. That’s in this episode so, enjoy! The Recovering Misanthrope Podcast – Episode 2 – Perspective is Everything
Perspective is Everything folks! Dr. Wayne Dyer once said “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” In this episode I talk about how changing my perspective has changed my life and gotten me that much closer to living my best life. But, that change hasn’t been easy, and it won’t be easy for you either. BUT, I figured something out, and I share it with you and when you hear it you’re going to think to yourself “Holy crap, he’s right.” So yes, perspective IS everything, and the faster we learn to alter our perspective from one that likely views many things poorly (the glass half empty idea) to one that views them more positively (the glass half full) the better off we will become. Enjoy! Thanks for listening and if you feel like it, please feel free to subscribe using your favorite podcast app, or by bookmarking the podcast homepage.
