America is known for some of the most barbaric racism and horrific systems of slavery. We can't help but remember this when we see "'Merica!" stans trying to leave out the parts that include our ancestors.and what they went through, to then not be acknowledged for building so much of this country.  For most, who disagree with the separation focused destruction of families, it easy to see the parallels with slavery as children are taken from adults, tortured and forever psychologically damaged. Maybe #Netflix is its own genre. I'm old, (or feel old when watching), but the story telling, cinematography and acting talent kept me glued to Dear White People, in Season 2.  The first season was good, but it took me a year to finally finish, and definitely lowered my expectations for season 2. Oh, well. Season two got me. I enjoyed it.
