Dr. Charles Steindel was Chief Economist of New Jersey from November 2010 through August 2014. He joined the Treasury after a 25-year career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he was a Senior Vice President. He has also worked at the First National Bank of Chicago and the Federal Reserve Board. At the New York Fed he played a leading role in producing U.S. economic forecasts and in monetary policy advice. He has served as president of a number of New York area professional groups and on the Board of Directors of the National Association for Business Economics. Dr. Steindel received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Graham Allison is also the “Founding Dean” of Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and until 2017, served as Director of its Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs which is ranked the “#1 University Affiliated Think Tank” in the world.
