It's Deeper Than Food: Why we may eat the way we do
In this episode, I talk about the ways our upbringing has conditioned our current relationship with food. From the amount of food we eat to WHY we eat the way we do, this episode breaks down a few ways we can adjust the way we look at food.  Dig in and "chew" on a few questions that we can ask ourselve to better understand the entanglement a lot of us have with eating and poor nutritional habits.  Links to the books mentioned in this episode:  Brainwashed: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority by Tom Burrell  The End of Overeating: Taking Control of the Insatiable American Appetite by David Kessler  Find me on Social Media: Twitter @chaquitarenettehttps://twitter.com/chaquitarenetteFacebook: @chaquitarenette https://www.facebook.com/chaquitarenetteInstagram: @chaquitarenette https://www.instagram.com/chaquitarenette/

Why you may be struggling to reach your goals
Let's be honest. We have more opportunities now to accomplish almost anything we can imagine. We are ancestor's wildest dreams! And some of us actually do! We watch our favorite influencer, blow up, seemingly overnight and we figure if she can, so can I. We see our childhood friends go on to become the VERY person they set out to be. But...there those of us who can't seem to get it together. We set the SAME goal(s), month after month, year after year.  Some of us really struggle with getting our businesses off the ground. We struggle with our weight, year after year. For some of us, we can't seem to get out of his rat race and feel like no matter what you do, you can't catch a break. You're wondering why you can't get it together and just be consistent. I mean, you want to succeed, right? In this episode, I share the common mistake we often make when we set goals and don't achieve them, and what we need to do instead before we even think about setting another weight, financial, or business-related goal.
