Talk To Me Goose
In this week's episode we talk Top Gun and have ourselves some other pop culture-related fun. The Joker sings, Josh Brolin talks to himself, Taika wants to create worlds and Netflix wants to give you 4.56 million dollars. And somehow we're in a universe with Guy Ritchie and Disney: The Odd Couple. All that and more in this week's News and Previews. Karen gets between the covers with The Yellow Wallpaper, a haunting and powerful short story from 1892 by Charlotte Perkins Gilman brought to glorious graphic novel life by illustrator Hannah Flügler. For our finale, Tyler takes to the skies, Flying F...king his way in to the Danger Zone with his review of Top Gun: Maverick. P.S. Come join our Film Club! Our first film to watch will be RRR, a raucous Bollywood action flick which is getting lots of love out there.

I Can't Think of a Clever Title For This Episode (June 6, 2022)
We manage to make it two episodes in a row without something catastrophic happening.  This week our News and Previews is filled with a bunch of stories from all over the world of pop culture and entertainment. We follow that up with a Rant, Rave and Review of the first 3 episodes of The Boys, before hitting the Retro Rewind button to talk about a true classic in the horror genre, Poltergeist, and possibly the best of the Star Trek films, Wrath of Khan both of which are celebrating 40th anniversaries. We finish the episode by giving ourselves (and you, friendly listeners) a little homework assignment and asking the question, is 1982 the greatest year in cinematic history?

The Woes of Netflix, The Highs and Lows of Nicolas Cage and The Life and Times of Elisabeth Shue.
New week, new episode. In this week's episode we talk about the droves of subscribers leaving the once all-mighty Netflix and we question our credibility as so-called cinephiles and pop culture podcast hosts. The release of Nic Cage's new film, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, has us talking about some of our most favourite and least favourite films from this enigmatic actor, and we finish it all off with a fictional retelling of the life and times of Elisabeth Shue, using some of the characters she has played in a new segment, Unauthorized Lie-ograghy. Enjoy.

We Talk About Bruno
What happens when we hit the record the button without so much as a plan?  Almost two hours of pure Pop Cult gold.  It's a long one today, as we get our babbles on about a whole slew of stuff.  Oscars, E3, a new film festival for 2022, casting news, and bunch of other tasty tidbits. We celebrate the start of National Poetry Month with a shoutout to a local poet.We review intentionally hilarious The Bubble and the unintentionally hilarious Moonfall. To finish things off, we take a look back at the mostly excellent career of Bruce Willis, who, sadly due to health concerns, has decided to step away from acting.  It's a fun ride, we hope you enjoy it,.
