The Pikey & Loughz Show - Talkin’ Taipans Episode 8
The latest edition of The Pikey & Loughz Show has dropped with Chris Pike and Alex Loughton Talkin' Taipans, which means discussing the hottest team in the NBL right now, the Cairns Taipans. The Taipans have now won three straight matches and five of the last six to move into the NBL's top four so there is plenty for Pikey & Loughz to dissect and discuss coming off the two big wins in Round 10 for the Snakes against the New Zealand Breakers. Pikey still believe the Taipans are the most exciting team in #NBL20 but Loughzy is urging some caution and for the Taipans to avoid any sort of over-confidence as they prepare for the Round 11 double-header at home to the Perth Wildcats and away to the South East Melbourne Phoenix. Much of the discussion this week surrounds Taipans point guard Scott Machado and just why Alex Loughton thinks he is so good and the perfect man to run this Cairns team, and why he would loved playing with him as well. There's also a very special interview with one of Loughzy's long-time foes and a teammate in Cairns later in their careers, Cam Tragardh. They discuss all things Taipans right now and the two 300-game NBL veterans can't help but be liking what they are seeing. All that and much more on this week's Talkin' Taipans episode, all thanks to Cairns Total Physio and Stattons Plumbing Company.
