February’s book of the month for the Papercut Book Club was a collection of essays called Trick Mirror: reflections on self-delusion by Jia Tolentino. In this episode, Fatma sits down with book club member Anup Sudevan to talk all about self-delusion in modern society in various iterations: social media, religion, scammers, weddings, and more. Motherhood is the best, most awful job. In honour of Mother's Day, the theme of this episode is motherhood, with all its peaks and troughs.
