Season 1 - Episode 4: The Magnificent Seven | The Oceans of Titan: A Movie Review Podcast | The Radio Oceania Podcast Network
Welcome to Episode 4 of The Oceans of Titan. In this episode I review the newest adaptation of The Magnificent Seven, which is a re-imagining of the 1960 original produced by the Walter Mirisch company and starred Yul Brynner, Charles Bronson, James Coburn, Robert Vaughn and Steve McQueen. The plot of the film involved seven gunslingers of the Old West helping a village stand up to a bandit and his band of 40 men raid the people of their food and resources. This film, directed by John Sturges was actually an "Americanized" version of a movie named Seven Samurai, a 1954 Japanese film starring Toshiro Mifune. This movie was about seven men in the Japanese Warring States period standing up to an army of invaders robbing the villagers of their things. The 2016 film, starring Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt roughly follows the storyline of the 1960 Sturges/Mirisch movie. It also stars Washington's Training Day co-star Ethan Hawke, Full Metal Jacket/Law and Order's Vincent D'Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Martin Sensmeier, Haley Bennett, and Peter Sarsgaard as the baddie named Bogue. In this adaptation, directed by Training Day's Antoine Fuqua, Washington leads the group of men in defending the village of Rose Creek in 1879 from Bogue, who wants control of the town and its resources. | Links: Website: http://bit.ly/RadioOceania | Facebook: http://bit.ly/radiorofacebook | Twitter: http://bit.ly/oceanringstweets |iTunes: http://bit.ly/TitansOceansiPod | Google Play: http://bit.ly/TitansOceansGooglePlay | Email: realradiooceania@gmail.com | Coming Soon to Stitcher Thanks for listening!

Season 1 - Episode 3: Suicide Squad Revisited | The Oceans of Titan: A Movie Review Podcast | The Radio Oceania Podcast Network
Welcome to Episode 3 of The Oceans of Titan. This time I revisit Suicide Squad. This was supposed to be my redux of the original review I did during the second season of The Rings of Saturn. However, instead of me breaking down the details of Warner Bros. third major film based in the new DC Cinematic Universe, the show goes off the rails when I get into the issues I have with the films and the person at the helm of the DCCU project, Zack Snyder. So the Mach 5 scale is thrown out in this episode to make room for my rant. This is an episode that you don't want to miss! | Links: Website: http://bit.ly/RadioOceania | Facebook: http://bit.ly/radiorofacebook | Twitter: http://bit.ly/oceanringstweets |iTunes: http://bit.ly/TitansOceansiPod | Google Play: http://bit.ly/TitansOceansGooglePlay | Email: realradiooceania@gmail.com Thanks for listening!

Season 1 - Episode 2: The Purge: Election Year Revisited | The Oceans of Titan: A Movie Review Podcast | The Radio Oceania Podcast Network
Welcome to Episode 2 of The Oceans of Titan. This time I revisit The Purge: Election Year. The Purge is probably the only horror film franchise I enjoy. Released just in time for Independence Day, The Purge: Election Day pulled out all the stops in full patriotic splendor. A secret service agent (Frank Grillo) must protect a senator (Elizabeth Mitchell) during The Purge before election day. The senator is a strong advocate in putting an end to the annual event sanctioned by the New Founding Fathers Association who must eliminate the senator in order to keep control of the government. In this episode, I will restate the points I made in the previous Purge review as my thoughts on the film has not changed since the first time I watched it. I will once again talk about why Grillo may be the worst lead actor ever, why the senator character was the most useless character and the Rise of Epic Candy Girl and Jane with a Gun 2016. This review is based on my Mach 5 system, which is used to give the movie an overall score and critiques the characters, story, and I'll also discuss any social commentary I got out of watching the film. The Purge: Election Year will go through the Mach 5 treatment once again! | Links: Website: http://bit.ly/RadioOceania (Podcasts will be up by tomorrow) | Facebook: http://bit.ly/radiorofacebook | Twitter: http://bit.ly/oceanringstweets |iTunes: http://bit.ly/TITANSOCEANSiPod | Links to Google Play, YouTube Page, Google +, Soundcloud and Instagram will be provided next week or visit the website and stay tuned to my social media accounts for updates! Season 1 - Episode 1: Deadpool Revisited | The Oceans of Titan: A Movie Review Podcast | The Radio Oceania Podcast Network
This is the 1st ever episode of The Oceans of Titan podcast, a movie review show. As my explaination of how I came up with the name of this show came off the rails, I ran WAY over my target running time you so get nearly an extra 15 minutes of my smooth silky voice. In this episode, I revisit Deadpool, the 2016 Marvel superhero action film starring Ryan Reynolds as the fun-loving, wise-cracking former Special Forces soldier turned mutant. I'll explain how my new Mach 5 grading system works, how Reynolds stole the show with his awesome performance and what NTW stands for - hint: the N stands for Negasonic. I did the original review back in July 2016 after I finally caught it after a Redbox run. Please sit back and enjoy what I consider my best podcast work to date. This review is based on my Mach 5 system, which is used to give the movie an overall score and critiques the characters, story, and I'll also discuss any social commentary I got out of watching the film. Deadpool 2016 will go through the Mach 5 treatment once again! | Links: Website: http://bit.ly/RadioOceania (Podcasts will be up by tomorrow) | Facebook: http://bit.ly/radiorofacebook | Twitter: http://bit.ly/oceanringstweets | iTunes: http://bit.ly/TITANSOCEANSiPod | Links to Google Play, YouTube Page, Google +, Soundcloud and Instagram will be provided next week or visit the website and stay tuned to my social media accounts for updates!
