Episode #35 Closing Your Nurse Practitioner Practice
Today I’m talking about closing your nurse practitioner practice. Perhaps that sounds weird since I’m the one that teaches how to start a practice, get it operating smoothly, and then growing the practice. However, there are a lot of reasons someone may want or need to close a practice, which I’ll mention in a bit. And it is a question we have received multiple times, so it’s time to talk about it more. It can be a complex subject and of course, have many variables. But let’s take a look at it from a 10K foot level. Show notes at https://npbusiness.org/close/

Episode 27 A Marketing Checklist for Your Business
One of the hardest things I hear is from a nurse or nurse practitioner who has worked hard to open their business and then they say they don't have patients or clients. In this episode of the NP Business Matters podcast, I'm talking about marketing. Ideally, the whole idea about marketing and who you are marketing to should start with the business plan.Unfortunately, I hear too often from new practices that open and they have no patients. Even established practices, the ones that started off slow, still suffer from a lack of patients. One of the issues is to really identify what the service is and who the ideal patient/client/customer is for your business.I discuss this and more in Episode #27 of the NP Business Matters Podcast.

But there was also another issue she found out while planning for a practice. Practice restrictions in her state would have actually prevented her from starting the kind of practice she wanted, she decided to do something about that as well.Listen in for ideas, inspiration, and become inspired.Head over to the snow notes for links and contact information @ NPBusiness
