Intro Episode with Stephen K. Hayes Interview
This is the first episode of the new podcast but The Ninja Everyday YouTube channel has been going strong since 2018. To learn more about us and sign up for our newsletter, go to theninjaeveryday.com. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Last year I started a YouTube interview series called “The Masters of To-Shin Do” where I got a chance to speak with the leadership of To-Shin Do and ask questions related to their personal martial arts journeys, their pitfalls and successes, and their visions of the future of ours and other martial arts. The first interview was with An-Shu Stephen K. Hayes. For more about Stephen K. Hayes, go to his personal website or Ninja Self Defense. He has a Facebook and Instagram, as well. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If you are interested in training with An-Shu and several other members of his training team there are lots of upcoming opportunities. On April 3rd - 5th of this year the Annual To-Shin Do Black Belt Retreat will be happening at the “Hombu” (head) Dojo in Dayton Ohio. If you are a To-Shin Do Black Belt you should definitely try to get to this event. On May the 1st I will be hosting my Spring Tengu Training Retreat in the Mountains of NC. This is definitely more of a retreat than a seminar and it would be best if you are an experienced To-Shin Do practitioner. We will head deep into the mountains for a weekend of nature immersion, waterfall purification practices, guided and unguided meditation opportunities, To-Shin Do, and jiu-jitsu martial arts training. For those of you in the southeast, May 16 - 17th An-Shu Hayes will be at the home dojo of his only 9th degree student and future podcast focus, Mark Sentoshi Russo, at Tampa Quest Self Defense.
