Paranoia: Stick it in a Glo-R-YOL
During Christmas festivities this past year we ran an impromptu game of Paranoia with experienced and first time players. This is the result. There were some holly jolly libations imbibed and that may be reflected in the manner of the game. ENJOY!

Unusual Tourists - Carnage Noir 2012
NOTE: This recording is from a con, as such, audio quality is rather hard to hear. We recommend using headphones. One of our very own (the mastermind behind the infamous 'The Sad Tale of the Hammer of Leroy' and 'Darkness of the Divine)  ran his first game at a local Con this year. He didn't quite have the turn out he hoped for but made the best of it. Send your encouragement for him to NERPAP@yahoo.com!

PARANOIA
YOU ARE IN ERROR. NO ONE IS SCREAMING. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION. The Computer is happy. The Computer is crazy. The Computer will help you become happy. This will drive you crazy. Being a citizen of Alpha Complex is fun. The Computer says so, and The Computer is your friend. Many traitors threaten Alpha Complex. Many happy citizens live in Alpha Complex. Most happy citizens are crazy. Which are more dangerous traitors or happy citizens? Rooting out traitors will make you happy. The Computer tells you so. If you are not happy, The Computer will use you as reactor shielding. Being a Troubleshooter is fun. The Computer tells you so. Do you doubt The Computer, citizen? Troubleshooters get shot at, stabbed, mangled, incinerated, poisoned, stapled, blown to bits and accidentally executed. This is so much fun many Troubleshooters go crazy. You work with many Troubleshooters. They all carry lasers. Aren t you glad you have a laser too? Won t this be fun? Stay alert! Trust no one! Keep your laser handy! NOTE: All players are members of both a Secret Society and have a Mutant power. They all believe they are the only ones with such features. FUN FUN! Also we seem to be missing the last 15 minutes...SPOILER (they all died). FUN! When PARANOIA was first published almost 20 years ago, amid fears of nuclear war and job loss to those newfangled desktop PCs, it was instantly popular for its vision of a high-tech, post-holocaust, totalitarian future ruled by a deranged Computer. It won attention too for turning the basic paradigm of RPGs players cooperate on its head, making all players secret traitors who can only advance by uncovering treason. Happily, today those fears are obsolete. Instead, we have spam, viruses, trojans, malware, distributed denial of service attacks, the RIAA, cyberwarfare, identify theft, terrorists, the Patriot Act, terrifying new diseases, the threat of environmental catastrophe, the grey goo scenario, and weapons of mass destruction.

Cthulhu Dark - Curse of the Yellow Sign, Act III: "Archimedes 7"
Archimedes 7 is a colony ship traveling from our solar system to a distant world. A small piece of tin protecting its inhabitants from the dangers of the void. But the real danger is already inside the ship...Archimedes 7 is the final chapter in a series of Call of Cthulhu scenarios all linked by the Yellow Sign. The series was created by John Wick and more information can be found at his website johnwickpresents.com and linked in the notes of this podcast episode. At the site you can purchase the entire Yellow Sign trilogy of stories for a very, very reasonable price. If you, or your group are planning on running any of these adventures, we suggest you stop listening now unless you will be leading the game. For those of you still with us. Why don't you pull up a monitor and view what is going on currently on the Archimedes 7 as it hurtles, off course, through the empty void that is space... Call of Cthulhu: Clean Up, Aisle four!
From the Bangor Daily News.. Convenience Store Mystery-Wendy CarsonAccording to several local sources, the Weyport Zipp N’ Pik store has become the landlocked equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle: when the store’s morning shift arrived, they found the store empty and called the police. When the police arrived, they quickly determined that all of the cars were missing their drivers and passengers. Police are currently investigating the matter. While the police have yet to release an official statement, reliable sources have reported that there may be as many as twelve people missing. The source also indicated that the police have the security video from the store, but have yet to comment publicly on them. The local authorities claim that the situation is under control and that tourists should not be deterred from visiting Weyport because of this mystery. That's what the paper said. Now a reality TV show called "Spectre Ops" is going to the scene to film one of their ghost hunter style shows. Naturally, since ghosts aren't real this will just be like every other assignment. Surely nothing will go wrong... The scenario 'Clean up, Aisle four!' was written by Michael C. LaBossiere NOTE: We aplogize for the lower than standard audio quality. Enjoy!

Ravenloft: Blood in Moondale
Blood in Moondale: This is one of the adventures expected to occur after the players have been in Ravenloft for a while. It’s designed for three to six characters of 3rd to 5th level. It’s an adventure about broken trust and betrayal. This adventure takes place sometime in the winter at a place called the Moondale Inn (in the village of Moondale). A village plagued by vicious wolf attacks. The players are asked by Captain Rapacion of the local county militia to aid him in ridding the snow covered village of the menace. However, Captain Rapacian hides a darker motive. Just a little bit of fleshing out can take this short adventure to new heights. It gives a rich role-playing opportunity when the players hit it off with Dante Lysin (proprietor of the local inn). Dante too hides a dark secret, one that illustrates a “shades of gray” philosophy in Ravenloft. Who can the players trust when the wolf attacks suddenly target them? This adventure would work best by introducing Captain Rapacian a few sessions before beginning. There should be a certain level of trust between the Captain and the players, so as to not give away the whole story. The adventure even suggests substituting the Captain for another trusted NPC if you must. Again, every NPC introduced in this module could become a recurring character.

Ravenloft: Feast of Goblyns
The mists are back and fittingly (as happened before) recordings are showing up missing! This episode takes place just a few hours of gameplay after the last one and picks up about a quarter of the way into the adventure Feast of Goblyns... After finding themselves in Ravenloft again, the PC's help defend a small homestead from Wolfweres and then head to the nearby Town of Skald to meet up with a woman named Akriel. In Skald they located the Old Kartakan Inn and bunk down for the evening...and cock block the DM by refusing to go on an adventure. C'est la vie! Keep sending your emails (you always make our days with that) to NERPAP@yahoo.com peace and love, peace and love.

Pathfinder: Worst. Session. Ever.
"This is where Pathfinder dies" Our DM muttered. He was tired, cranky and being a bit snarky. That sardonicism and snarkiness was passed on to the players and it caught like...despondent fire. The result? Our WORST session ever. Take a listen (if you can) and hear how bad a game of Pathfinder can get...complete with really bad player decisions at the end Everyone got upset and the vibe was really weird. Who knows if we'll ever even play it again?!? Should we throw in the Pathfinder towel? Let us know at NERPAP@yahoo.com and https://www.facebook.com/NERPAP
