What the show has taught me about daily creative diligence
Oh, man. When it rains it pours. In today's episode you are getting a listen into my audio diary. Last week (and if I'm being real, this week too), I've felt overwhelmed with work, stressed by volume of projects, and like I can't yet strike the right balance of how much time to devote to each task.  So, when I trusted my gut and made space and time by putting a freelance project on indefinite hold, why did I have to learn the lesson again that there's a greater plan in place? Almost immediately after "making space" for a new project, an opportunity knocked that was SUCH a better fit that it was a no-brainer.  Here's what I'm thinking about in this ep: -Making room for the projects you're passionate about. It's a risk but worth it. -Creativity is a journey, not the sum of end products. -When you're creative every day, the ideas only get better. -Faith and creativity collide: your inspiration will continue to come. Have faith it will never run dry. -You don't have to "save ideas" for the future, for when things are better, easier, more polished. Go for it!    Grab your coffee and stay a while…  For daily inspiration on how to enjoy lovelier mornings, come join the crew over on Instagram: @themorningstir Theme song "Drowning." Copyright 2014 Cameron Moore (BMI). Stress-free wedding planning... it CAN be done.
If you've been listening along with the show, you may know that I was a bridal magazine editor for four years (and writing about bridal for two years prior), before I launched The Morning Stir. So when I got engaged this summer, and we set a date for just seven months later, I was definitely feeling the pressure! Luckily, these three tips have kept me sane, made tough decisions easier, and kept the process FUN (as it should be). Want to ask me a wedding question or looking for some bridal advice? Head on over to Instagram @themorningstir to ask away! xo Theme song "Drowning." Copyright 2014 Cameron Moore (BMI). All Rights Reserved.
