This episode I have a chat about a concept I ponder frequently, and is the precursor to many existential crisis's in my life (seriously though) The concept is that of dying twice. Have a listen to hear my thoughts on it!   Follow me on instagram! @ncktylr

#18 Stop screwing yourself over
In this episode I share a (hectic) recent travel story, and how our mindset and attitude toward negative situations determines what the outcome of that situation will be. Positive in = Positive out.

#17 Photography, entrepreneurship, and adventure feat. Randy Ignacio
Welcome to the Modern Boss Podcast. My name’s Nick Taylor, I'm a multi-passionate entrepreneur, world traveller, powerlifter, and husband. I started this podcast as an insight into the vastly different areas of entrepreneurship, mindset, and personal mastery. As an avid consumer of podcasts, I love hearing success stories, the climb to the top, and the mindset shifts incredible people go through on the journey to greatness, fulfillment, and success. However, I think there is so much beauty IN the journey, and so many business and entrepreneurship podcasts I listen to are really about reflection, rather than a current-day introspective look into the ‘hustle’ of daily entrepreneurship. In this podcast you will hear from individuals currently in the process of making their dreams a reality, and I hope you will learn, relate to, and be inspired by the content within. Life is only as good as your mindset, so join me today in becoming a Modern Boss.

#15 Fulfillment, Clients, and Network Marketing feat. Stephanie Packer
I first met Stephanie Packer exactly 7 years ago to the date, when I caught a glimpse of the name-tag she was wearing at an international event I was attending, and realised she was from Halifax, Nova Scotia, easily one of my favourite places in the world. Steph started her entrepreneurial journey as an holistic nutritionist over a decade ago now, and as much as she loved the work that she was doing, she quickly realised that the one-on-one, time consuming client model just wasn’t going to provide her with the freedom, impact, and income that she really craved. After a period of soul-searching and daydreaming, and really reflecting one what her ideal lifestyle would look like to her, she discovered network marketing as an industry, which was a total game changer for her. Partnering with a leading global wellness company that aligned with her values gave her a really refreshing approach as to how she could serve others and support them with their health, happiness, and impact. This decision led Steph to having an influence on far more people than she ever thought possible, she launched into numerous opportunities, but one of the most impressive things that she has achieved so far, in my eyes, is establishing a solid and reputable brand and community, all about women’s empowerment in entrepreneurship, which has over 34,000 hashtags on Instagram so far, Luscious Life Design. #14 Freedom and Location Independence feat. Aimee Buhagiar
I first met Aimee about 4 years ago now on a cruise around north east Asia and the Yellow Sea. Aimee grew up in Australia, studied, worked as a high school Personal Development, Health and Physical Education teacher, an English teacher, and a personal trainer, before she came to the realisation that working in a job just wasn’t for her. Aimee is a multi passionate, location independent entrepreneur, who travels the world whilst mentoring hundreds of people on how to create that life, and also in subjects like wealth creation, mindfulness, abundance, health, and entrepreneurship. She has spoken on stages all around the world educating on these topics, and has travelled to so many places in her life so far, from Oceania, to south east Asia, China, the USA and Canada, and all over Europe, where she currently lives. Her thesis is freedom, and I thought it would be awesome to talk to Aimee about how to create more freedom in your life. #13 Parenting, Vulnerability, and Balance feat. Patchouli Brinkman
Patchouli Brinkman is one of my most cherished friends. One of the kindest, most loving, gregarious, and hard working people I have ever met. At the age of 2 she moved to the mighty Australia as her parents pursued careers over there, until returning back to New Zealand at the age of 6. After an upbringing of many rough times sprinkled with beautiful times, she moved out of home at 17, as her brother went through some traumatic experiences. She excelled at football, and ended up boarding with a family in Auckland, and playing for a Women’s team in North Auckland. The sport kept her grounded, driven, and focused, but eventually she found her self wondering just what in the world she was going to do with the rest of her life, and who she even was. She met her husband Paul, and together they have created these 4 beautiful, passionate, and CRAZY children, to whom they are TOTAL parent goals to me and my wife. Life got really tough for a while, when with the pregnancy of her 4th child, Austin, she developed gestational diabetes. Patchouli is a real visionary, and see-er of silver linings, and this experience actually ended up leading into her passion with nutrition, and coaching others. If there was one person I know who genuinely cares about the betterment of people, it would be Patchouli. In establishing her businesses over the years, I have seen her strength, knowledge, compassion, and nurturing nature persist, and I believe Patchouli will create some incredible things in her lifetime. follow Patchouli on instagram @patchouli.brinkman follow me on instagram and facebook @ncktylr

#12 Time Freedom, Innovation, and Personal Growth feat. Paul Edwards
Paul Edwards is one of the greatest people I have met. Even though he’s SUPER old, he’s one of my closest friends, and has been ever since he took the role as a business mentor in my life back in 2012. School did really not offer much for him, and that saw him leaving school in his early teenage years. Paul has had a decade plus career in the prison service in New Zealand, but his life was changed when he was able to leave his career thanks to increasing income from business, and from them he has been able to live the quality of life very few parents can dream of, not missing one birthday, school camp, performance, or get-together. Over the last decade-and-a-half, Pauls life has consisted of a lot of time freedom. I’ve had so many special moments with Paul over the years, including cruising the East China Sea on a cruise liner, to him being one of my groomsmen at my wedding. Paul is a legend, and a person I look forward to SO many memories with in the future. Paul, brother, you are a LEGEND, can't wait to create some more memories together. #11 A Phoenix Rising from the Ashes. To rock bottom and beyond feat. Jae Walford
Jae Walford is a Phoenix rising from the ashes Jae was born and grew up in New Zealand. At the age of 13 he started delivering a paper run, and washing dishes at the local restaurant. Jae didn’t enjoy school much at all, and that lead him to dropping out midway through his final year. He moved cities, found a new job, and that’s really where the slide to rock bottom began. In very quick succession, Jae’s now 16yr old daughter was conceived, and his brother was diagnosed with cancer. He struggled during his brothers battle, and on the 3rd of the January 2003 his brother passed away. This sent Jae on a journey of self-destruction, but also self-discovery. Not long after his brother's death, he left his partner; He had just wanted to escape in every way possible, leading to the all too common spiral of alcohol and drug addiction. Jae went through a period of homelessness where he floated around, staying on couches, and hitchhiking from place to place, but a period in which he found solace and beauty. The biggest turning point was going Sober in 2016 after a protection and parenting order had been taken out against him. Through that, Jae had to do a living with non-violence course, and chose to do a Man Kind Project Adventure. Alongside these changes, Jae has also committed to a heap of spiritual and personal development. He is currently building a coaching business, helping others with drug and alcohol addiction, and is getting established as a child youth and family mentor to help struggling teenage men in New Zealand. Owning the past, taking responsibility for past mistakes, forgiving yourself, and moving on toward a positive present and future is a story many people need to hear, so Jae, thank you brother for joining us. To find Jae facebook, go to https://www.facebook.com/jae.walford and to check out his coaching page where he posts a heap of content, Best Of You, head to https://www.facebook.com/bestofyouNZ Follow me on Facebook and Insta @ncktylr.

#10 Time Management and The Law of Attraction
Time Management is NOT, by any means, something that has ever come natural to me. The feeling of a dairy that's too structured and rigid and too much on my plate makes me feel like I don't have the freedom that I crave! I've been listening to a few podcasts lately on this topic, and I think I've found that 'sweet spot' of managing my time whilst still having the feeling of abundance, freedom, and fun in my daily routine (or lack-thereof) Coupled with a few techniques I've recently learned about Quantum Physics and The Law of Attraction, I feel I've been getting more done that EVER, whilst still maintaining a nice balance of time to spend doing other things less important (like watching the NBA finals, or spending 3 hours in the kitchen preparing dinner). I talk about what I've found using these techniques over the last few weeks, and how you can utilise them in your life too. To listen to the Charlie and Andy Frisella podcast I spoke about, go here: https://andyfrisella.com/blogs/mfceo-project-podcast/how-to-create-the-life-you-want-ft-charlie-jabaley-with-andy-frisella-mfceo216 follow me on instagram and facebook @ncktylr

#9 From cancelling weddings and feeling hopeless to multiple businesses and travelling the world feat. Ricky Achterstraat
Ricky is a guy who is full of zest and passion for life, but in the not too distant past, almost the opposite was true. A few years ago, Ricky had hit rock bottom. He had to cancel his wedding, he tore his ACL playing football, meaning he couldn't play sport, his physical, mental, AND spiritual being was under a load of stress, and he began to gain weight quickly. For a guy, who at the time, was riddled with insecurities, this was a very slippery slope. HOWEVER, and I always love the comeback story, Ricky decided that he was going to take responsibility for his life and do something about it. He turned into a beast at the gym, he fought for love, got married, and travelled the world. A few years on and Ricky is an influencer and motivator to thousands of people. He is a certified trainer and fat loss coach, a 2-times podium winning physique sports model, an avid traveller, having already seen over 16 countries, a youtube content creator, an aspiring e-commerce mogul, and has just launched his own men's hair company, Concept Creations. #8 How you doin’? An episode on perspective – feat. Me, myself, and I
Sometimes it takes a little bit of a perspective shift to understand how our current results have come to be, and how to determine our future results with some form of accuracy. This short and sweet episode I talk about a couple of techniques I have/do/and will continue to use in order to help me gain perspective with my nutrition, my productivity, and my life in general. Give it a listen, follow me on instagram @ncktylr, and I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE if you could leave me a review on iTunes or Stitcher about how you're finding the podcast. Stay tuned, I have some exciting shit ahead Peace.

#7 Listening to the voice inside of you, kicking ass, and taking names feat. Viola Hug
Viola Hug is my favourite person in the entire universe, and it’s hard for me to even think of where to start when it comes to writing a Bio about her. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a Double Major in Human Nutrition and Sport and Exercise Science, a coaching certification from the DSWA, A Reiki Practitioner, a Certified Yoga Teacher, a multi-passionate entrepreneur, property investor, founder of violahug.com, host and founder of The Abundant Babes podcast, and an Alignment Coach for Visionaries, but her most significant achievement so far has been marrying me. Since I first met Viola in 2010, the growth I have personally seen her go through is unbelievable. A real personal development and growth junkie, a visionary, and an eternal optimist, she impacts so many through the way she leads and lives her lifestyle. She has a vision to impact over 1 Million people's lives, and I have no doubt that that will just be the beginning for her. To follow Viola, search @violahug on Instagram, Viola Hug on Facebook, head to www.violahug.com, and check out her podcast, The Abundant Babes Podcast. V, you're a legend, I love you so much, thanks for being a fucking gangster.

#4 Seeing the World, Perspective, and Building Brands feat. Michael Callejas
Michael Callejas will go down as legend status in my books. He is one of the most generous, giving, and caring people I have met in my life so far. He is wildly successful, having become a millionaire before the age of 30. Mike is a highly sought after speaker, an author, and a world traveller, having visited over 80 countries so far, with an aim to see them all. He knows more about sports and film than probably anyone I know, and I fell in love with Ice Hockey when I attended my first LA Kings game with him at the Staples Centre in LA when I was living with him for 2 months in 2017. On top of all of that, he is a philanthropist, spending so much of his time and resources helping our planets people most in need. Mike is an extraordinary person with a refreshing perspective on the world. If you want to connect with Mike, you can do so on Instagram @Mike.Callejas, and also check out his Watch Company, 11 Watch Co, at www.11watchco.com

#3 Mental Health, Veganism, and the Entrepreneurial Spirit feat. Fraser Bayley
Fraser is one of the most 'onto it' dudes I know. A guy that has more gains than Thor, Ragnar, and Zeus put together. An incredible optimist, and a successful entrepreneur-soon-to-be-dad. But it wasn't always this way. During his teens, Fraser was diagnosed with ADHD, learning disabilities, bipolar disorder, and heavy, long-term brutal depression, as well as crippling social anxiety — borderline suicidal. He just happened to be a butcher, too. For about six years of his life. He smoked, drank a lot, his diet was a typical Western junk food diet. He was on a myriad of prescription medications for anxiety, depression, and ADHD - none of which he felt worked at all, besides just creating a numbing from the world, emotionless and void of feeling. Join me as we discuss the changes Fraser made to go from where he once was, to the man he is today. Through conscious decision, lifestyle changes, through his transition to veganism, and becoming a successful entrepreneur, we dig deep and get raw in this episode. Fraser, brother, you're the man, and truly someone who I see as a Modern Boss. Also, a quick note on the sound quality/scratching. This has been fixed, so quality will be 100% from here on out

#2 Law of Attraction and Overcoming Adversity feat. Luke Dunham
Luke Dunham is one of those rare people you meet, who on first meeting him, feels like he's been a friend for life. He has a natural gift and talent for making people feel worthy, accepted, capable, and larger than life. Through so many trials and tribulations in life, through education failures, and massive health issues, Luke embodies everything I think of when I started The Modern Boss podcast. I couldn't think of a better person for my first interview, so Luke, brother, I appreciate the s#*t out of you, and I can't wait to see what you do with this lifetime. In this podcast we talk about overcoming adversity, entrepreneurship, health, the law of attraction, positive mindset and anticipation. I know you'll love this episode! The Modern Boss Podcast Episode 01
A Modern Boss is an individual who is willing to accept that it all rises and falls on them. No matter what circumstances they were born in to, have been through, or are going through, they decide to be a victor to them, and not a victim. They feel an incredible duty to have a positive impact on the world, and to leave the world a better place than when they arrived. He or She is committed to constantly evolving, growing, and learning. They understand that they are different, and revels in the fact that they stand out from the norm. The Modern Boss is a crazy dreamer, and is ready to go out and actually make life happen for them, and not to them.
