Most of us would agree that books on PLM, Engineering Design and Change & Configuration Management are not the most exciting read. In fact, many of us have actually fallen asleep while reading. So, why is it such a boring experience to read books on PLM? Why do most of us turn a few pages and then put the book away for good? In this special episode of Minerva PLM TV, we discuss the problem of PLM education and why the need for better-written books on PLM is needed to educate the next generation of engineers.

Digital transformation isn’t a one-and-done project. Change is constant and the rate of change your business is experiencing is only accelerating. What Dave saw happening in working with connectivity - is that you get information that changes the way you sell. He realized early on with Carestream's advanced connectivity how the shift from selling things to selling services was naturally happening. David share's logical steps to go beyond gathering data. Look first internally and become aware. Then use the data to provide better service. Become more proactive. And ultimately provide matrix offerings that vastly improve customer experience and provider portfolio.
