Roy is a former producer of BBC's 'Songs of Praise' and  'People Get Ready' on Channel 4 in the 1980's.  International recognition came with winning the CBC Gold Award for a programme on the American Evangelist, Billy Graham. This was followed by Donnie McClurkin live in London produced for Verity records in the USA, a huge success.  Roy Francis was at the forefront of the marketing and promotion of Gospel Music in the UK for the last twenty years. In recent years he has worked with BET Television in the USA featuring celebrity guests like Wendy Williams, Tray Songz and Tracee Ellis Ross. In the hot seat today we have Dr. Carol Ighofose, a GP ( General Practitioner), Author, Professional Speaker and a Missionary. Also the CEO of LydiMed Limited, providing medical consultations, Keynote Speaking, Conferences and Seminar delivery facilitation, Christian education and literature. Carol is the author of the book: Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: The HEART of the Matter! which she wrote whilst recovering from a heart attack that she thankfully survived in January 2018. Carol took the decision to retrain as a doctor, after a 13-year career as a registered nurse / midwife. In 2004, at age 35 years, whilst her sons were ages 3 and 1 year old, she commenced Medical School, at the University of Leicester, UK. She completed her basic medical degree in 2008 and subsequently qualified as a GP in 2016. Currently, Carol’s roles as a Sessional GP include being a Clinical Supervisor and GP Clinical Lead.  Her testimony in one sentence is: “God has been good to me!” Dr Carol’s motto for life is: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Carol believes in Servant Leadership, we are here to serve and lead others each other in every are of life , mind, body and soul. In the hot seat today we have Emmanuel Gotora, Community Director at Africa Community Land Trust and works as Lead Organiser for The East London Communities Organisation (TELCO). TELCO is the founding Chapter of Citizens UK, and is an alliance of 85 civil society organisations across 6 east London boroughs.  Emmanuel has trained and mentored civil society leaders from Malawi, Zambia, South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Eswatini and Lesotho. Emmanuel is from Zimbabwe, and has a background in Theology, Youth Leadership Development, and managing welfare-to-work job programmes such as the New Deal for Communities.  He has a proven track record which includes training thousands of community leaders; working with community and faith leaders to build powerful institutions to work together for the common good; winning the Living Wage campaign for 150 cleaners at the University of East London; pioneering a community-based recruitment model which placed over 1,500 local people into jobs for the London 2012 Olympics; leading Citizen UK’s national Just Money campaign for affordable credit; and contributing as a panellist to the Commonwealth Foundation’s “Constructive Engagement” workshop in June 2014. After all the protests, the demonstrations about injustice, what is next? This is the question we must all answer. As an Emmanuel believes the answer lies in the hands of the people, not governments. If you can mobilise grass root action, organised campaigns that outline the issues, that is a step in the right direction. Andrew and his wife are business partners and run the design agency and web hosting together. Andrew has a passion for helping the under-privileged and the less fortunate. Over ten years ago in the inner city of London he started teaching young people who had been excluded from school to build websites and basic coding. He felt this was a way to help young people transform their life from the path they were on to be able to learn a skill, get a qualification and gain a foothold on the employment ladder.
