EP 91 - Lauryn Sargent – Moments That Matter

Lauryn Sargent loves a good story. Who doesn’t?  So, in 2011 she co-founded Stories Incorporated, a marketing firm that helps companies recruit by using the company’s employees to sell their workplace to job applicants. Stories uses multiple platforms, including videos and blog posts, to get the word out. The key, Sargent says, is to tell a story that is “not generic.”  Sargent says they want to “highlight the moments that matter to employees”. Among those moments, she says, they ask current employees to talk about the moment they knew they made the right decision to work at that company. Sargent says they look for stories that are not about the “mechanics of the (work) day” but that reflect the company’s culture to give prospective employees a good picture of the workplace. @laurynsargent   Sign up for Brazen eBook The Recruiting Chatbot Revolution!
