MLB, NBA and NHL shaping up, Astros cheating
The linebreakers are back and now in living color. It is our first video podcast!! We talk all things Astro’s baseball scandal, NBA and NHL. We preview what are upcoming gambling/sports betting videos will be like. Visit www.thelinebreakers.com for our future March madness brackets!! Spring training and MLB opening day coming soon NBA and NHL shaping up Astros cheating scandal not going away We took a little longer break than usual with the Professor being sidelined by the flu after attending a Devil’s game. That what he gets for betting against the home team. As MLB gets under way the Commissioner’s handling of the Astro’s sign stealing scandal isn’t going away any time soon. Last week actor Chazz Palminteri, who wrote and starred in “A Bronx Tale” called into the Fan radio station and stated that as an expert on the Mob, the Commish shouldn’t have granted immunity to the whole team. He stated that no prosecutor would ever grant an entire crime family immunity to find out what crimes they were committing. He reasoned that you only needed to grant immunity to one or two and you would still find out what crimes were being committed. Supposedly, the immunity was bargained for with the players union, which apparently didn’t consult with THE PLAYERS!! MLB supposedly granted immunity to avoid dragging the controversy on with all the grievances that would be filed by the players’ union. Well, guess what, you failed. Because if they had, you wouldn’t be having all of the players complaining and expressing their outrage at the Astro’s behavior. Including virtually every big name in the sport not on the Astro’s or the Red Sox. Aaron Judge was robbed of the MVP and stated as much, and Giancarlo Stanton said he could have hit 80 home runs instead of 59 if he knew what pitch was coming. Mike Trout and other stars have all said the championship should be taken away. As we predicted a few weeks ago there is even an over/under line on how many times an Astro’s player gets plunked. I believe 89.5 is the number, or roughly one batter hit every other game. I think after a bunch of times at the start of the season, there will be an edict of immediate ejection for obvious intentional hitting of Astro’s batters. Regardless, it was absurd for them to not suffer any repercussions for cheating their way to a World Championship and the Commissioner bungled the handling of it only to add to it with later explanations, including calling the Championship just a piece of metal! With such incompetence, you would think he works for the Mets. Baseball season totals always a fun bet and when they get posted we will discuss them. In the meantime, there are actually some people, known as degenerates, who actually be on spring training games. In fact, one of them is sitting next to me. How on earth do you bet on a game where the outcome doesn’t matter? You know you shouldn’t be betting on baseball if the game can end in a tie. This year we will see the new rule that a relief pitcher must face 3 batters. I personally don’t like it. If you really wanted to pick up the pace of play, you make the batters stay in the batter’s box. The rule is on the books, but not enforced. NBA: The Milwaukee Bucks clinched a playoff birth earlier than any team ever. That’s hard to believe considering some great teams of the past, such as the Bulls with Jordan and some Laker teams and most recently the Golden State Warriors. The Bucks are obviously the favorites to win the title at +230 with the Lakers next closest at +300. Unlike hockey, one of the best baseball teams usually prevails, so now might be the time to bet. Now would also be the time to visit us at www.thelinebreakers.com as we continue to add content and then click on Fanduel to check out the futures odds. Not just for NBA, but NHL also. By the way, are the Knicks going to suck forever, or is there a chance they have a plan to improve?

Super Bowl Recap and MLB Scandal
The linebreakers are back in there new studio, we are talking the super bowl collapse and what bets we hit on. The Astro cheating scandal and how it effecting the betting world. We touch on the NBA and the NHL. For the grand finale we are very excited to announce all of our new video content we will be delivering to you all for free. Visit the LineBreakers.com in the coming weeks to learn all about sports betting, sports fantasy, and casino betting!! ================================================ Super Bowl 54 Review of Chiefs’ Stunning Comeback MLB Cheating Scandal. Extending Playoffs. “How To” Betting Videos Coming Soon XFL, more betting opportunities! Super Bowl I know it seems like the Super Bowl was played months ago, but it’s been less than two weeks and we took last week off, so I am going to say a few things about it and then we focus on current matters. 49ers Coach Kyle Shanahan once again blew a big lead late in a Super Bowl, only this time he was the head coach. Last time he was the Offensive Coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons who blew a 28-3 lead in the middle of the 3rd quarter. This time the lead was just 20-10, but it was with only 7 minutes left in the game. He went away from the run and gave up 21 unanswered points to lose 31-20. We spoke about Prop bets for Super Bowl and we made a few. Length of National Anthem…Under lock at 1 minutes 50 seconds, Haha. Mahomes. MVP. Another lock winner. Chiefs Win. Lock, but after early scare, again. Over. Nope. Lost that one. I know The Professor did some live betting and adjustments. MLB The cheating scandal continues to dominate MLB talk; especially after the Astros owner claimed this week that it didn’t help them win title in 2017 and later that very same day saying it might have. And a day later, new minted Yankees pitcher, Gerrit Cole, stated on February 13th that he had no idea there was any cheating going on while he was on the Astros in 2018 and 2019! Not a great way to start your time with the Yankees, to come out with a blatant lie that will only keep the story going, instead of getting it in the rearview mirror. The lack of consequences for the teams, players and owners for such blatant cheating is shocking and I believe this scandal will have a chilling effect on the sport and the betting on baseball as well. The Astros and Red Sox should have lost their World Series titles, been docked many draft picks and been banned from post season. Mets blow their deal with Steve Cohen by wanting to control team for another 5 years. Unbelievable, except it’s the Mets. Few teams have perfected screwing things up as well as the Mets. The Jets and Knicks are close though. Extending playoffs to add more teams, good idea? NBA NBA hits the All-Star break and like the other major sports, the all-star game has become a snooze fest. No one cares. Skills and slam dunk contests are bigger attractions as well as the celebrity game. The regular season so far has revealed some really good teams and many more really bad teams. Golden State is in the toilet. XFL When I mentioned to The Professor that the XLF was starting and what he thought about it his response was….”I don’t know, but I’m going to bet on it!” Spoken like a true degenerate, which by the way he did and got killed. 29-3. Video Series The Professor, Coop and the rest of the team are working on our new video series, “How To Bet”, launching this month. Check back soon to see our progress at www.TheLineBreakers.com, to see what we have posted. As we said before, it will have three general areas that we will go into varying degrees of analysis. Fantasy Sports Betting: This would include Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) and fantasy leagues, understood by most who are in yearly NFL leagues. Traditional Sports Betting: Focusing on the online options, we will walk you through the basics and all the way through advanced ...

Super Bowl 54
The big game is finally here, all year long for this game. You give you some story lines for the big game and what are some interesting props for the big game. We tsk about the future of the line breakers and all of the video content that we will be giving out to everyone for free. We can’t wait to show you all what we have in store for you. Picks, Parlays and Props Super Bowl 54 Preview Losing Kobe and 8 others This week began with the tragic news of the death of Kobe Bryant, way too young, along with his daughter and 7 others. It is one of those terrible news reports that many will remember where they were and what they were doing forever. Certainly, as someone who spends an inordinate amount of time on sports, my circle friends and business associates were all asking it the story was true. So, Super Bowl 54 is upon us and there has been almost no change in the opening line of the Chiefs -1.5. Some books now have -1. The over/under did climb 2 points and is now 54 and 54.5 So do your homework before you bet. Since there just one game left many people, myself included, look for other betting options like parlays and proposition (prop) bets which the Super Bowl is famous for. There are props on virtually any outcome both for the game itself and individual player’s performance. You can even bet on outcome of the coin toss or the how long the singing of the national anthem will take. Aside from the silly bets available we like to look for value and that is what our picks this weekend will reflect. Game bets Parlay bet Prop bets The game itself presents us with the classic matchup of a very strong defense versus an equally impressive offense. Traditional wisdom says that the very good defense prevails. The most often sited example of this is the Giants vs Bills victory in Super Bowl 25. 20-19 Giants won 20-19 after the famous “Wide right” miss by Scott Norwood of the Bills. The betting line suggests that the odds makers believe it will be very close with a slight nod to the Chiefs. Fanduel has all the props you could want and as a Fanduel Affiliate we ask you to visit our site at www.thelinebreakers.com , look at picks and then click on the Fanduel link. Coop and the rest of the team will post our picks at www.TheLineBreakers.com, so stop by the site, look around and if you like what you see, sign up for half price for our weekly and monthly subscriptions. We have a lot of interesting content and all our former podcasts are archived there; you can also see that our analysis was right on, ….usually. TheLineBreakers picks are very reasonably priced. Other sites charge $40, $50 or more for just one pick. We give you a bunch of picks for half that! That’s right folks, half that. We also give you the analysis for each pick, so you can evaluate what we are focusing on and make an informed decision. By the way, we examine all the top handicappers and most of them are in the 55% range, at best. We are documented well above 60% which puts us at the very top of all handicappers. Many of those guys charge $30 to $50 per pick! Finally, a little PSA. Bet with your head, not over it is the phrase and if you believe you might have a problem, you probably do so call 1-800-GAMBLER And if you’re going to use our services you are agreeing that you are of legal age to bet in your state.

Superbowl .54 Preview
The linebreakers are fired up for the super bowl coming up next week. We introduce our free fantasy help for all of you. That’s right free. We will be coming out with videos over the coming weeks that will help with the introduction into daily fantasy sports. This is something we have a lot of trust in and really believe we can help all of you out. Don’t forget to go on the linebreakers and sign up with our affiliate, FanDuel, we think they give you the best deals and are very user friendly. Tune in next week for our Big Game Play! SEEING RED and “C’MON MAN” Cheating Astros, Red Sox, firings. McGregor 40 second beat down of Tomato Can Cerrone and Chiefs/49ers Super Bowl The Red I’m seeing is for the slap on the wrist MLB hands out for cheating on a grand scale, number one, including the Red Sox. Second is the 40 second beat down of that tomato can by McGregor. We all jumped on the late odds boost by MGM from minus 357 to plus 200 on McGregor. (So, you went from risking $357 to win $100, to winning $200 for every $100 wagered!) Actually, you could have bet both sides +200 v +250 for a great no lose hedge bet. Nevertheless, Cowboy should change his name to Tomato Can. 40 seconds, “C’mon man.” We had a great fantastic Championship Sunday with The Professor going 3-1 and The Mechanic going 4-0. So, if you’re still not checking out our picks all I can say it “C’mon man.” Even our free pick was a winner! All you had to do was to go to www.thelinebreakers.com and you would have won for free. What are you waiting for? There were no upsets here just, some startling results; mainly Henry being held to 69 yards and only 3 carries in second half and Jimmy G routing the Pack with just 6 completions as Mostert had a career day with 4 TD’s and 220 yards rushing on 29 carries. Guy has been cut 5 or 6 times and just plain torches the Green Bay defense. Obviously with only one game left we will add some prop bets, both game and individual. Maybe even a parlay or two. But I am now refocusing on Fantasy Baseball and Basketball with tons of action everynight. Coop will talk about this and give some pointers. To find out what, visit us at www.TheLineBreakers.com and get some free advice and sign up for FanDuel on our link. With the incredible results our free picks have had, they should also have been labeled “Best Bet”. Jeter 1 vote short of unanimous for Hall of Fame? “C’mon man”. 396 of 397 votes. Super Bowl 54 9ers v. Chiefs -1.5 53 Coaching carousel Jason Garrett to Giants with speculation that Jason Witten might follow. Tom Brady hanging out with Mark Davis, fueling speculation of seeing him in a Raiders uniform…C’mon Man, that ain’t right. Divisional Weekend, baseball sanctions and betting tips.
The linebreakers are bringing you the NFL conference championship game talk. What we think of the matchups and where the lines stand. Not much football left to gamble on, we will be talking more about different sports. NHL, college basketball and nba is what we will fill this no footballless void with. Don’t forget to visit our website thelinebreakers.com this weekend and see who we take in the championship games. Run Derrick Run.Divisional Weekend, baseball sanctions and betting tips. The Titans pulled off another great upset, this time against the Ravens who had one 12 in a row to finish 14-2. Derrick Henry rushed for 211 yards in week 17, then after posting 182 yards rushing against what was considered a very good defense in New England, he rambled for another 195 yards against the Ravens. The Ravens were certainly aware that he was the Titans key to victory. Didn’t matter. He ran right over them. Here at TheLinebreakers.com, we all had the Titans plus 9.5. So with only 3 games left we will pick all the games and all the over/unders as well. So visit us at www.TheLineBreakers.com and get our picks. The Professor has been hot, going 7-2 over the past two weeks, so you should see who he likes this weekend. Picks are still way under priced and if O’brien wasn’t an idiot, 8-1 was in the bank. Blowing a 24 point lead in 2.5 minutes is tough to do.LSU rolled and Burrow will go to Bengals as number one pick. Two Conference Championships on Sunday are:Titans at KC-7.552Packers at 9ers -7.5 45We will pick all of them and the over under in each game as well. Our free pick is? Come to the site to see free pick………………Astros handed suspensions and $5 million fine and then owner fired the GM and the Manager. Big whoop. That’s nothing but it’s the biggest fine that currently can be imposed.Red Sox fired Cora before investigation is done. Mets should do the same with Beltran, but being the Mets, who always get it wrong, they won’t. They should have hired Girardi and blew that.I’ve mentioned a few times how fond I’ve become of live betting, something that is relatively new with the advent of online sports betting. During the college championship I started out with an over 65.5 bet. Soon the live bet was down to 60, so I added to my over bet. Then as LSU started to catch up and pass Clemson it jumped to 78! So naturally I bet an equal amount to my first to over bets on the under with a middle of 12.5 and 18. That is a crazy large middle and only risking 5% of my total bet with the great likelihood of hitting all bets, which I did. You couldn’t do this just a 18 months ago, unless you were in a casino. It is fantastic and will only get better as 5G rolls out and the odds are posted faster and bets are processed faster. The odds change quickly and I keep commenting that its like day trading stocks, only more fun cause your watching sports and not some talking head on the stock channel. I’ve also been singing the praises of prop bets which also add a lot of excitement to a game and money to account. All betting sites have them and they are a great way to add some fun to your betting experience as well as some money to your account. Last night I took the Knicks who were down over 30 points and line was plus 28. They lost by 26 and I covered my live bet. So visit us at www.TheLineBreakers.com for help finding out who is going to cover and make you some money. Wildcard Weekend and NFL and season review
The linebreaker crew is back to start the new year right. Huge NFL weekend and we talk about a little incite for this weekends games. College football championship is this Monday and we tease a little about that game...hint hint, go tigers. We have a couple free picks this weekend if you go to our website www.thelinebreakers.com this Friday afternoon. We talk a little about what we will be doing after football season ends. Lets have a great weekend!!NFL and season review We had a great wildcard weekend with most of our picks covering the spread and with both number 6 seeds knocking off the favorites on the road and sending to Hall of Fame QBs home unhappy. Many, including myself, were delighted to see the Pats lose; especially with Brady throwing a pick six in what might be his last game as a Patriot. But more surprising to me was the Vikings beating the Saints in New Orleans. That was my only loss last weekend and it cost me dearly. What was most surprising was the fact that the final play clearly involved offensive pass interference and it wasn’t called even after review. Ironic considering the new rule was implemented in response to last year’s non-call which also knocked the Saints out of the Super Bowl.(Which they would have won) So the Saints have now lost three straight times in the playoffs…. on a miracle reception and two bad non-calls. And twice to the Vikes. Saints fans must be livid. As we said weeks ago, the top of the ATS stats full of playoff teams and the bottoms is almost exclusively the dregs of the league. It seems to obvious, but its true, stay away from the crappy teams because they don’t cover. Look at the ATS records and see where you should be putting your money. Or better yet, visit us at www.TheLineBreakers.com and get our picks.Four playoff games are: Sat Vikings at 9ers -7 44.5Sat Titans at Ravens -9.5 46.5Sun Texans at Chiefs -9.5 51.0Sun Seahawks at Pakcers -4 47.0We will pick all of them and the over under in each game as well. Our free pick is…………………………….. Come to the site to see free pick…………..Coaching carousel……………………Giants fumble again……. What else is new. Now paying three coaches at same time. Becoming as dysfunctional as Jets. And I saw a picture of Brady in a Raiders uniform…… The Professor made that comment the other night and I gagged then too…………… What a nightmare that would be for me and Raider Nation as a whole………………Tua declares for draft. Tago-vai-loa. Where does he go?We previously announced that we have added our very first Affiliate Partner and that it is FanDuel. (Still offering Risk-Free Bet Up to $500). Props and live in game betting are a wonderful way to stay interested and make money; especially now that the fantasy leagues are over with the exception of some playoff fantasy games. So as the NFL winds down my interest is picking up in the NBA and Coop’s interest in hockey I believe. We will now be making picks in those two sports as well since there are only 7 NFL games left. Props are a great way to add some fun to your betting experience as well as some money to your account. Week 15 NFL review.
The linebreaker crew is back and talking ATS. We look at the how the trends have played out throughout the year. Maybe we have a free Saturday pick this weekend. College football Bowl season is upon us. 40 bowl games coming your way and we talk about a few of them and a couple interesting trends that you might want to know. Visit thelinebreakers.com and see who we are taking this week. Playoff teams beat the spread.I was reviewing the ATS statistics and what jumped off the page was the fact that at the top of the list were all playoff teams and at the bottom are teams that are already eliminated. Many people might not think that is significant, but trust me, it is. That means that the better teams are not only winning but consistently beating the odds makers predictions of what number should bring equal action. Of the 12 teams that are above 55% ATS, only two are not in the playoff picture. That means that for the vast majority, the better teams are covering the spread and conversely, the lousy teams aren’t. The five teams at the bottom of the ATS are all eliminated from the playoffs. So stay away from the crappy teams because they don’t cover. Look at the ATS records and see where you should be putting your money. Or better yet, visit us at www.TheLineBreakers.com and get our picks.Last week I didn’t see the classic trap game in the Falcons v. the 9ers. Coming off a great win at the Saints, they then lost to Falcons who are playing basically for Quinn’s job as they beat San Fran with a 19 point fourth quarter. SMH on that one. And the Raiders losing their final home game in Oakland by getting shut out 17-0 in second half has me still shaking my head as well, in addition to plenty of cursing. The playoff picture is shaping up as is the draft order. Lots of really interesting matchups and a bunch of duds too. Time to be very careful about betting on teams with players already loading their golfs clubs in the car. And the Jags were called out by the Players’ Association as somewhere not to sign as a player! Holy reverse collusion Batman. They had more player complaints filed against them than the entire rest of the league. We announced last week that we have added our very first Affiliate Partner and that it is FanDuel. (Still offering Risk-Free Bet Up to $500). Other sites offer initial deposit matches or $100 just to sign up. We are still in the process of adding our next Affiliate Partners so when you visit our site, we hope to have them there soon. FanDuel is one of the original sites and the easiest sites to navigate. It also offers plenty bonuses, betting options and props. Recently while looking into the NBA I noticed they are offering “3rd Quarter loss insurance”. Basically if your team is leading at the end of the 3rd quarter but goes on to lose, they will refund up to $50 of your wager. Props are a great way to add some fun to your betting experience as well as some money to your account. Week 14 NFL review.
The linebreakers crew is here talking about how the patriots have treated again. We talk Giants football and how they screwed us this week. College football Bowl season is soon us get ready for PICKS PICKS PICKS over the next month. The Professor is 16-4 over the last 4 weeks in the NFL. Go to www.thelinebreakers.com on Friday and see who The Professor and the rest of the LineBreakers crew is taking this week!!! PATRIOTS CAUGHT CHEATING AGAIN! IS ANYONE SURPRISED? I had already written the introduction to this week’s podcast in which I was going to do something I’ve never done before… I was going to say that the Pats were robbed by the refs in their loss to the Chiefs. But then the news of the Patriots getting caught cheating again hit. Now I’m glad they lost and the should lose a lot more than a game. The fact that they are still being allowed to bring film crews into an opponent’s stadium is beyond belief. Add to that the fact that the Browns failed to warn the Bengals nor did they notify the NFL beforehand as required and it’s once again a violation deserving huge penalties by the league. The Giants lost on Monday Night Football and have now set a new record of futility, losing 9 in a row and now sporting a 2-9 record. Firing coaches every other year isn’t ever a really good way to improve, but Shurmur is clueless and should go at the end of the year. Mike McCarthy is looking to return to the NFL and I’d love to see the Giants grab him, which is what he Jets should have done last year. Jameis Winston had 4 TD’s, but yet again he threw 3 INT’s, which means he might lead the league in both at the end of the year. Thursday’s free pick with Jets going to Ravens is tough due to the injury to Lamar Jackson. Although he’s still listed as questionable, it is probable he will play but with much less running. And if they get a sizeable lead, he’ll get pulled early. So, we think that taking the Jets and the 14.5 or 15 points is the play. The playoff picture is shaping up as is the draft order. We have added our very first Affiliate Partner and it is no surprise that it is FanDuel. We will be adding additional affiliate partners in the near future as we evaluate who we recommend. So when you visit our site at www.thelinebreakers.com you will see a link to click on and sign up for your account on www.FanDuel.com. A we go forward we will continue to add links to the betting sites we personally have used and can recommend to help you avoid those we haven’t had a good experience with. These evaluations are based on various factors which we will explain each time we add a site. FanDuel is one of the original sites and the easiest sites to navigate. It also offers plenty bonuses, betting options and props. Add to that he many odds boosts if offers and this is one our favorite betting sites. As we’ve said before, there are new sites popping up each week and they vary greatly in their ratings. So visit us at www.TheLineBreakers.com for help making the right picks and choosing the best betting sites. ATS update. There are still only 10 teams that are above 55% ATS which we stated is where you need to be too. The Eagles and the Bears are now tied for last place at 4-9 ATS which is 30%. Look at the ATS records and see where you should be putting your money. Or better yet, visit us at www.TheLineBreakers.com and get our picks. Week 13 NFL review
The crew is back talking week 13 recap and what happened over the thanksgiving day games. We give out a freebie for week 14, LISTEN to see who we take!!! We have been hot over the past 3 weeks in NFL/college. The professor has been 12-3 in NFL and coop has been 12-7 in college over the past 4 weeks. Go to www.thelinebreakers.com and see who we take for all the college championship games and week 14 for the NFL!!!TURKEYS AND RECORD BREAKING LOSERS We we’ve seen a lot of football since we last got together after taking a break for Thanksgiving and much of it has been surprisingly bad, thus the title of Turkeys and Record Breaking Losers. My Raiders have been embarrassed two weeks in a row, losing by 31 both times, including a drubbing by the Jets of all teams. Those very same Jets who just set a record for futility that has not been witnessed in the NFL’s 100 year history! They’ve set a new benchmark for sucking by losing to two teams that started the year at 0-7 in the same season. And in the case of the Bengals….. those bums were 0-11 until the Jets came in and scored only 6 points, against what was considered the worst team in the NFL. I say “was” because that title might now belong to the Giants who lost for the eighth straight time and might break a team record by losing their ninth straight Monday night at the Eagles. I predicited Jones would continue his barrage of turnovers and he didn’t disappoint, this time with three INTs. Eli Manning is probably back at QB with Daniel Jones injured, so watch out. Months ago, I expressed my frustration with these two disasters (Jets and Giants) by stating that I’m refusing to bet on either of them again. That is not to say that I won’t bet against them, which I have been doing and certainly will again. They are both well below 50% ATS and will probably continue to suck overall and ATS. Both coaches should be fired, along with another 7 coaches who are in the hotseat. Ron Rivera was fired on Tuesday and many more will follow at the end of the season or sooner. The Patriots again showing some signs that offense is not that good scoring only 13 to beat Cowboys and then only 22 in loss to the Texans. The Ravens are now being touted by most as the best in AFC and perhaps the whole NFL after beating the resurgent 9ers last week. The Seahawks win over the Vikings was a great game and I took advantage of in-game betting to place a total of 7 bets on the game, winning 6 of them. Live betting is still better than sliced bread as I’ve said before. It’s like day trading only more fun.As the playoff picture starts to come into focus, its easy to make the mistake of betting against teams that are on the outside looking in. Quite often those teams take pride in playing the role of spoiler; especially against a division rival or a team that recently knocked them out of the playoffs. As it becomes clear which head coaches are toast, watch out for those teams to give up. And as the weather gets nasty, keep that in mind. Cowboys v. Pats was perfect example of an Under lock.A bunch of interesting matchups this weekend: Bills/Ravens, 9ers/Saints, Chiefs/Pats, Hawks/Rams to name a few. Week 11 NFL review.
Coop the Mechanic and the professor are back and they talk the NFL or is it the WWF with Myles Garret’s helmet assault. The Linebreakers went 7-3 in college football last week. Go to www.thelinebreakers.com and see what our team picked and why they picked them. We are red hot and you need to hope on now!THURSDAY NIGHT FELONY andSO MUCH FOR “TANKING FOR TUA” I’ve watched a lot of football and I’ve seen some outrageous behavior on the field, but I’ve never seen an assault with an opposing player’s own helmet to the head! I’m certain that if that attack by Myles Garrett upon Mason Rudolph took place in Pittsburgh, Garrett would have been charged with felony assault. Shortly after it was announced that he would receive an indefinite suspension Garrett was complaining that the penalty was too harsh. He’s lucky he didn’t seriously injure Rudolph or worse; especially in light of the fact that Rudolph just recently suffered a concussion. Just another reason to dislike the Browns, not that I needed one. With Bama QB Tua Tagovailoa suffering the same injury that ended Bo Jackson’s career, and undergoing his third surgery while still in college, the “Tanking for Tua” is now a defunct proposition. Not to mention that LSU quarterback has jumped to the front of the pack in most rankings. Tua’s injury has also sparked all the chatter about college athletes’ needing to be paid for their services. The Vikings did something that hadn’t been done in the previous 99 times a team was down by 20 points at the half,…. they won 27-23 versus the Broncos to improve to 8-3. As we get into late November the playoff picture is starting to take shape and the Vikes are definitely in the picture. It’s now that speculation on how teams will do with their remaining 5 or 6 games and where they might finish in their division. Only the Pats, Ravens and Saints appear to have a firm grasp on their respective divisions, with all the rest still up for grabs.Monday Night Football was actually exciting even though Rivers threw 4 INTs to go with the 3 he threw the week before. Add to that poor play calling down the stretch and the Bolts almost tied it up at the end. The game had OT written all over it, until Rivers capped his horrible outing with his fourth pick. Stick a fork in the Chargers. As we look to add value to our site, we are exploring who we want to refer you to for your betting needs. In the coming weeks we will start to add links to the betting sites we personally have used and can recommend to help you avoid those we haven’t had a good experience with. As we’ve said before, there are new sites popping up each week and they vary greatly in their ratings. So visit us at TheLineBreakers.com for help making the right picks.ATS update. There are now only 10 teams that are above 55% ATS which we stated is where you need to be too. The Bucs continue to hold last place with a pathetic record of 2-8 ATS. Jameis Winston tossing another 4 INT’s and dropping his team to a 3-7 record has his head coach wishing he had stayed retired. The Giants, Skins and Bears all suck and are just one game better ATS at 3-7. Well at least the Giants or Bears will improve as these sad sacks play each other Sunday. Look at the ATS records and see where you should be putting your money. Week 10 NFL review AND THEN THERE WERE NONE
. Coop and the Mechanic are back talking NFL against the spreads and why that is so important to really look into those teams that are covering. Coop went 4-1 in college last week but you missed out!!! Go to www.thelinebreakers.com and see what games Coop and the team picks this week so you can grow your bankroll! AND THEN THERE WERE NONE Week 10 NFL review. It took us until Week 10 to finally see the last undefeated team go down as the Seahawks defeated the 9ers in a thrilling Monday Night Football affair which ranks amongst the best of them. This was one of my picks as I believed they were due for a loss and the Hawks looked like a team that could pull it off. The game had everything you could want, even sub-plots with Richard Sherman now playing against the team he gained his fame with. We had great defensive efforts from both teams, with both Ds scoring a TD. Overtime and the extra drama that that brings. Garoppolo made more than a few bad throws and Wilson did something he never does, he threw a red-zone INT. Nevertheless, Wilson still leads most early polls for MVP honors. The Jets beat the Giants in “Toilet Bowl” which the Professor attended. Shurmur continues to demonstrate that he has no business being a head coach as he makes bad calls, burns all three timeouts way too early and has Barkley carrying 13 times for one yard! Daniel Jones continues his turnovers with shocking regularity which can also be attributed to poor coaching.Once again we had some big surprises such as the Cowboys losing at home to the Vikings. All three of us picked the Cowboys which I said was the kiss of death. When everyone thinks it’s a lock, it quite often isn’t. The Vikes have now finally beaten a good team on the road, something they haven’t done much of lately. Same goes for Saints. I didn’t see them losing at home to the Falcons and scoring only 9 points in the process. Conversely, everyone including me picked the Packers to bounce back at home against Carolina. Winning by 8 while laying 7 caused me to age a bit, as that was the last leg of my 4-team parlay. Last week I said I didn’t understand why Browns were favored by 3. Well, they won by 3, so they are now 2-6-1 ATS. They are playing Thursday night as they host Pittsburgh who have just won 4 in a row after beating the Rams who are a shell of the team that went to the Super Bowl just last February. Coach Tomlin does some head-scratching things, but after losing his three best players and more to injuries, he’s done an amazing job getting his team to 5-4. They have a very light schedule ahead but I don’t see them going anywhere in the playoffs. Come see what we’re picking this week at TheLineBreakers.com., and some bonus picks.Only 9 teams are above 55% ATS which is were you need to be. That means if you’re always betting the same teams, unless you’re betting on these 9, you are most likely losing money. Betting on those other 23 teams is costing you money. So just look up NFL teams ATS and see where you should be putting your money. Or better yet, visit us at TheLineBreakers.com and get our picks. Most bad teams are on the bottom of the ATS standing with the notable exception being the Ravens. Despite looking great lately and sporting a 7-2 record, they are just 4-5 ATS. Only team worse than Browns ATS is the Bucs who are 2-7 ATS. Arizona on the other hand is 7-3 ATS but has only a 3-6-1 record.Bonuses and promos continue to abound at sports betting sites to encourage you to sign up. Week 9 NFL review
HOME SWEET HOME, FINALLY! Coop and The Mechanic are joined by The Professor this week. We talk about the college football playoff rankings and what that means for the rest of the year. We talk week 9 of The NFL and see what happened. Don’t forget to go to www.thelinebreakers.com to see what our team picked for the week of 11/8-11/11 After commenting on the demise of home field advantage only two weeks ago, guess what happened? Something that’s never happened before…..Every home team won on Sunday and covered the spread! I couldn’t believe it when I heard that so I had to verify it with my own eyes. Then as I was on my way to the Cowboys/Giants game Monday night with the Professor we were discussing that stat. I told him that I hoped that it wouldn’t hold for the upcoming game, as I had the Cowboys as the final leg in my five-team parlay. So, I hit that, as the Giants were who I thought they were; a crappy team who I swore to never bet on again for the foreseeable future. Same goes double for the Jets who did the impossible. They lost to a team who’s trying not to win and made the Dolphins look like a good team in the process. The Jets will now face the Giants this Sunday in what’s being referred to as the Toilet Bowl. When the Jets lose, head coach Gase should be fired as the Jets are dead last in all but one category. All from a supposed offensive guru and quarterback specialist. I believe the Professor is attending this upcoming shit show, for reasons lost on me. Sam Darnold is regressing under Gase and might have his future ruined by this moron. Same goes for Daniel Jones with a horrible Giants coaching staff led by Pat Shurmur. Some other big surprises were the Packers laying an egg versus the Chargers and scoring only 11 points. I look for them to bounce back at home against Carolina. The Pats getting pasted by Ravens and giving up 37 points in the process. This is a team that was only giving up 7 points per game. I didn’t see that coming and this was my only loss last week. Betting against the Browns and Baker Mayfield has been paying off as they as they are now sporting a 2-6 record and are 2-6 ATS. Not sure why they are favored against the Bills this week. Come see what we’re picking this week at TheLineBreakers.com., and some bonus picks. Injuries continue to pile up at an alarming rate and now we learn that Cam Newton is done for the year and probable done as a Panther. Jacoby Brissett was injured last week too in their loss to the Steelers, as was DeSean Jackson who had season ending surgery Tuesday. Last week I convinced a friend to take advantage of the bet insurance being offered by FanDuel. His $500 wager was insured in site credit, so when he bet $500 on Eagles there were no worries. Now he has $1,000 to play with. Make sure to shop around for the best offers of matching deposits and reimbursement for lost first plays. FREE PLAY THURSDAY is back after I had to take a week off on the disabled list. I think the play here is taking the over 48.5 in Chargers v. Raiders. DEFENSES? WE DON’T NEED NO STINKING DEFENSES!
Coop and the mechanic are back talking to football and how defenses are effecting the betting landscape this year. Does home field really matter?!?!? We dive into what college games are big this week and give a freebie!!! Don’t forget to go to www.thelinebreakers.com to see who we take this weekend!Defenses Week 7 NFL review. What ever happened to the concept that championships were built on defenses? Well I guess that jumped out the same window as home field advantage. ( Nine road teams won this week!) The AFC has a losing record versus the NFC so that’s something to consider when evaluating your wagers. Other interesting trends you can bank on too. High scores. Look at how many high scoring games there were, many in the 60’s and a whopping 72 points in the Vikings-Lions’ game! (The Vikes supposedly have a good defense.) Only the Jets and Skins failed to score, but they both suck, so that’s not surprising. Speaking of sucking, the Falcons have tossed in the towel after losing again at home by trading wide receiver Mohamed Sanu to the Pats the other day. And if truth be told, I had some clunkers; including taking both the Giants and the Jets. I knew I was in trouble when everyone was taking Jets and I was poised to cancel my bet but didn’t feel like paying the penalty….. boy do I wish I had.I’m never again betting on either of the local football teams, what a disaster they both were. After the Giants shit the bed on Sunday versus the Cardinals, I certainly didn’t expect the Jets to play worse, but they did. They didn’t even show up, getting blown off the field 33-0 to the Pats. That was hard to watch, and in fact, I did stop watching it after a while. Sam Darnold will forever have the “I’m seeing ghosts” comment attached to him if he fails as a Jets QB, much as Mark Sanchez is forever remembered as the “butt fumble” guy. I said before that I thought he was being brought back too soon and the win over the Cowboys might prove to be an anomaly. We’ll find out soon enough as they have three winnable games coming up.The 4-3 Cowboys woke up Sunday night and spanked the Eagles who are now 3-4. If the friggin’ Giants hadn’t spotted the Cards 17 points to start the game, they might be 3-4 too and only one game out of a division that’s ripe for the taking by anyone not named Washington. I’m still surprised Dan Quinn still has a job in Atlanta after losing to the Rams at home, he’s gone very soon; especially since, as I said, they are 1-6 and already trading away good players. That, and Matt Ryan’s injury is why half the Vegas books don’t have a line posted and some have moved from Seattle minus 3.5 to minus 7. With an over/under off the board, stay tuned. I love the under if its anywhere over 50. Probably a parlay for me. Oops, another free play! The 6-0 49ers beat a lousy Skins team in Washington but only scored 9 points. The Skins now go to Minnesota who have a surprisingly reinvigorated Cousins at QB, but once again another huge line of 16.5! I’ve never seen such large lines in one season and only half-way through the season…..That’s right, I said half-way! The NFL season always seems to fly by and this one is no different. Some other huge lines are 13, 13 and 14. That’s four games of 13 or higher! Last week we warned about laying big points and the Dolphins were never not covering the 16.5 they were getting from the Bills. So guess what we’re picking? Come see at TheLineBreakers.com., and some bonus picks.Mahomes escaped a season ending injury with a dislocated kneecap, but that’s why Sunday night’s game versus Green Bay has them as a home dog. Rodgers had his first perfect QB rating last week and the Rodgers stack in fantasy won all the big fantasy pools. Baker Mayfield will probably look like Sam Darnold versus the Pats…. OK, that’s a bit harsh, no one can look that bad, but Belicheat is certainly licking his chops at the prospect of going after another turnover machine and this time at home.

Fakers, Shakers and Bakers
Coop and The Mechanic are back talking week 6 in the NFL, we talk all about the fakers, shakers, and bakers. We dive into team being “we are who we thought they were” and what that means for the future. Talking big games in college football. We give a freebie out there that we are undefeated on. Don’t forget to visit www.thelinebreakers.com for our full slate of NFL and college football picks backed by data and analysis!Week 6 review of NFLOh what an interesting week we had with some incredible outcomes, fantastic performances and fabulous failures. Fakers. We knew the Eagles weren’t as good as many believed and we picked against them to lose to Vikes. We didn’t know the Cowboys were this bad, but we now know and will probably stay away from the Eagles v. Cowboys game this Sunday night. Cowboys being called most overrated team now. Not sure which team on either side will show up; especially now that the division is up for grabs. Under might be the play here. Even the Giants have hope now. Rams look weak and will likely not be NFC champs again. The Chiefs stumbled, again. The Browns blew a 20-6 lead at home, and the Bucs lost with 5 INTs by Winston. The other top rated QB from that draft was Mariotta who was benched during a horrible performance, getting shut out by lowly Denver. I’m surprised Dan Quinn still has a job in Atlanta after losing to Arizona, but we told you to bet the over and that was a lock. Another lock is Quinn getting fired soon, too bad we can’t place that bet here.Shakers. The 5-0 49ers are back on top of the NFC with an impressive win over the Rams. They held that high-powered offense to just 7 points and the Rams have now lost 3 in a row to drop to 3-3 and are now looking for help! Jalen Ramsey was traded from Jaguars to Rams yesterday but he’s on defense. Even so, it should be immediate help for both teams and more help for Jags in next two drafts with two first round picks from Rams. The Jets shook up Cowboys with the stunning return of Sam Darnold and some horrible play calling by Garrett and mental lapses on D, including allowing 92 yard TD to Jets only deep threat, Anderson. (My only loss of the weekend even teasing Dallas down to minus 1.) Garrett must have some pictures of Jerry doing nasty things with farm animals to keep his job for ten years and winning nothing.Houston looked quite solid beating the Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium which is no small feat. Mahomes is a little hobbled with a sore ankle, but Texans looked better than the final score.Vikings looked good against the Eagles and that game was never in doubt and one of my better picks last week. Cousins looks like his confidence is restored after criticism from many; including his own teammates.Bakers. Baker Mayfield sucks…. and I told you in the preseason to bet against the Browns for the entire season. Now they are 2-4, so I’m sure the internal bickering and finger pointing has already started. Baker threw 3 INT’s to hand a win to Seahawks and rip the hearts of Browns fans right out of their ugly orange and brown shirts Kickers in the NFL continue to stink and with remarkable frequency are missing extra points and chip shot field goals. The Texans kicker is on the hotseat after missing both an extra point and field goal, coach chose not to try game clinching FG attempt at end of the game. Some interesting spreads this week, most notably the Bills laying 17 points versus the Dolphins! I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen Bills laying 17 points maybe when they went to four straight super bowls in the 90’s and this is a division rival; even if the Fish are barely an NFL team. Remember what we say about laying big points versus a division rival. Even the winless Bengals covered last week versus Ravens. So guess what we’re picking? Based on that we have some recommendations at TheLineBreakers.com., and some bonus picks. If you haven’t yet signed up to bet online, make sure to shop around for the best offers of match...

Biggest surprise to me was Chiefs losing at home to Colts and scoring only 13 in the loss. Ankle injury to Mahomes was key. Browns getting blown out by 49ers Monday night 31-3 was welcomed by all those annoyed at all the hype the Browns were getting preseason and they are now 2-3. Dallas losing at home and for second straight week was a surprise, unless you knew that Rodgers doesn’t lose in Dallas; 4-0, now. Seven home teams lost this week.Anyone with half a brain saw the two biggest lines being covered by Pats and Eagles against two horrible teams, Skins and Jets, respectively. Only reason Miami didn’t lose was they had a bye, but Skins come to town even with an 0-5 record and firing their head coach Monday, they are favored on the road! Unbelievable. I predicted a close game and was right in picking the Steelers who lost to Ravens by 3, getting 3.5. Now down to their third string QB, they travel to Chargers who desperately need a win as well. Speaking of covering by half a point, my Thursday Free Play was Rams plus 1.5 and they lost by 1 when kicker missed a chip shot field goal at end of game. What has happened to kickers in the NFL? Just horrible all over, especially Cairo Santos from Tennessee who got cut after missing four, yes four, field goals in one game! Bum cost me a bunch on my 4 team parlay loss.Raiders continue to surprise by beating Bears mighty D with a 24-21 win after blowing a 17-0 lead and falling behind 17-21. Once again some teams looked horrible after looking good previous week. If Dallas had won, they might have overlooked the Jets, but after losing two in a row, Jets are going to be cannon fodder; especially since Dallas has Philly coming in next Sunday night. Lay the points and bet against Jets, again. Based on that we have some recommendations at TheLineBreakers.com with some additional picks for MLB playoffs and NHL over/unders.Props continue to be offered with dizzying speed if you listen to sports radio or watch any sports TV channels. Don’t forget to visit thelinebreakers.com and see our 5 college and 5 NFL plays this weekend! Week Four Review of the NFLLB.PODCAST October 2, 2019Last week only four home teams won, meaning 11 road teams won. So much for home team advantage. The biggest surprise to me and countless others was the Bucs going to LA and posting an astounding (and team record) 55 points on the Rams. Most considered this to be their lock of the week, as did I. On a brighter note the Professor and I went to the Giants game, broke our jinx and easily coasted to a win as we watched the fourth quarter from the FanDuel Sport Bar. Great location to watch every game and bet them. Did some in-game betting and early cash-outs again, which I said last week is a fantastic option along with all the other goodies this explosion of sports betting sites are offering to lure you into their site. These sites are now listing Pennsylvania and West Virginia as now being allowed to bet, in addition to New Jersey which started this revolution.Bill Parcels was the first coach I ever heard say that the season should be evaluated in four quarters, just like the game itself and you should try and win 3 of 4 quarters. If so, you wind up going 12-4 and assured a playoff spot. This is also when we think we know what a team really is. But I’m not so sure. I know who I think sucks, but who is really good it more elusive. Green Bay was exposed last Thursday at home. That certainly didn’t look like a great defense which they were widely touted as possessing. The Rams defense made Jameis Winston look like Dan Marino, or Pat Mahomes. Colts losing at home to the hapless Raiders, even I didn’t see my Raiders winning that game. How can some teams look horrible one week and great the next, ie, the Bucs? My best guess is two-fold. Despite outward appearances teams are not that far apart, it comes down to game plan, execution, and matchups. The other half his pride. Quite often after a bad loss, the team surprises the following week. Exceptions being the Dolphins, Redskins and Jets who have no chance. Based on that we have some recommendations at TheLineBreakers.com with some additional picks for MLB playoffs and NHL over/unders.Speaking of the Jets, watch them to ruin Sam Darnold by rushing him back before he should be playing. After a few weeks off they are already saying he is cleared to start non-contact football practice. They will ruin him just as they did Mark Sanchez, in a preseason game of all things. Props props and more props!!! I’ve been taking advantage of new offer from FanDuel, an extra $5 for every run your team scores, even if they lose! As I mentioned last week we are looking to provide you with recommendations for all these props, and we have found a few sites that do this. So we will evaluate them and give you links to the best as added value to our subscription content being expanded weekly. Bills D was stronger than expected and had a chance to beat the Pats. Brady had one of his worst statistical games but won by 6, not 7.Steelers vs. Bengals was less of a slugfest but it was a lock under which was a winning pick and coupled with the Steelers continuing their 16-0 Monday night streak at home was a no-brainer winning parlay. Betting Week Three in the NFL
Coop, the mechanic and the professor are back to two week 4 NFL madness!!! Props Props Props, what you should know about them and we give a little tip on how to make money before the game is over!?!? We give some fantasy startems for week 4. Don’t forget to goto thelinebreakers.com and get our 5 college and 5 NFL, plus a bonus play!!!I continued my winning ways last week and Monday night, but had to sweat it out and bail out early on my 4-team parlay, cashing out early and avoiding the Bucs debacle and one point loss. I told my friend I was cashing out early and she looked at me like I was crazy. I explained that it looked like the tide had turned and I thought the Giants might actually win……. This early cash-out is a better invention than sliced bread; especially since I don’t eat sliced bread. No longer do you have to watch your winnings disappear and even worse, lose money. Just push the panic button and leave with a profit; albeit, a smaller one. Eli’s replacement, Daniel Jones, amazes everyone and posts a road win in his first game ever, mostly thanks to Todd Bowles’ and Bruce Arians’ incompetence. Bucs, blowing an 18 point half-time lead and scoring only three points in the second half; inexcusable. The Bucs did everything wrong in a 32-31 loss to the Giants, including one of the worst coaching decisions ever…..taking a delay of game penalty to make the kick easier!!!!!!!!!! Arians has spent too much time in the sun and is probably drinking paint again! The Fish were getting 22 points vs. Dallas and that wasn’t enough, losing 31-6. So, they are one of only 2 teams 0-3 ATS. The other being the Eagles who have a surprisingly poor 1-2 record.Props props and more props!!! With the aforementioned explosion in sports betting and sports betting sites are a corresponding explosion of betting props, perks, offers, odds boosts, futures and give-backs. Too many to list here, and we’re discussing here at TheLineBreakers.com of doing some recommendations for which sites and perks are worth taking advantage of. It would require a lot of time to do it right, and we’re tossing that idea around here. We’ll keep you posted soon. That juggernaut known as the Pats, had a 30-0 lead over the Jets,(who can’t lose this week, only because they’re not playing), wound up letting Jets score twice by the defense and special teams to finish 30-14, not covering but 3-0. Next up is the Bills also 3-0, but against three bad teams with a combined 1-8, which should be 0-9. Bills are 3-33 versus Pats which is why they’re getting 7 at home as an undefeated team. Probably not enough, especially because Bellicheat will want to impose his will on this weak division rival that he owns. I don’t see this being close. Lay the TD and count your money. THAT’S MY FREE PICK FOLKS!!! Sign up at TheLineBreakers.com for our picks, 10 each week for 50% off all month. After three weeks we have seen that most of last years bad teams continue to suck with a few exceptions, most notably, the 49ers who are 3-0. Detroit is still undefeated at 2-0-1. As is said before, the Steelers couldn’t expect to lose Bell and Brown and now Big Ben and survive. Pittsburgh is 0-3 and now facing 0-3 Bengals. Look for a slugfest and find out who I picked at TheLineBreakers.com. Bonus picks added too.Once again in college football if you focused on the top 25 ranked teams you won. Even laying heavy points, you made a lot of money with that strategy. Once again this week are some even more huge lines, and if you check us out at TheLineBreakers.com, you’ll see who we like. Listen close, we give you an NFL “teaser” we love!!! And we talk college football, some big games in college football this week. We tell you our three start’ems and sit’ems for fantasy football week 3. Don’t forget to visit the LineBreakers.com for 50% our packages for the month of September!!! Week Two in the NFLLB.PODCAST September 18, 2019The End of an Era, or Two, or Three!!! Week Two in the NFLLB.PODCAST September 18, 2019Well I righted my ship with my NFL picks last week, going 3 and 0 on TheLineBreakers.com and 4-0 in my private betting. After abandoning parlays last week, I’m left shaking my head. No one ever claimed that this sports betting thing was easy and if they did, they aren’t really betting anything of consequence. But before getting into results of this past week, we just saw the end of the line for two or three legends; Eli was benched, Big Ben is out with season (and probably) career-ending surgery… and Drew had surgery on his thumb and is out for at least 6 weeks. These guys have a combined 50 years and 5 Super Bowl Titles. There has been some very poor planning by Giants, Eli is 8-26 in last two years and two games and should never have been brought back at $24 million for this year…That means the Giants paid $12 per game this year, and that’s for two losses!!!! Roethlisberger blew out his elbow without being hit, a sure sign he’s done. Brees, as I said last week, has been showing his age and surgery to his thumb could be the end for him. I believe that all three will attempt to continue to play, but I doubt any of them will get back to the big game.Last week the Fish were getting 19 points at home!, against the Pats and despite my reservations, I did lay the points and it was a second consecutive blow-out, tying a record that that’s almost 50 years old. Giving up 102 points in two games. 43-0 after Week One loss of 59-10. Now the Dolphins head to Dallas and are laying 21 points, which doesn’t seem like enough. Not to be outdone, that juggernaut known as the Pats, who laid that beat down on the Fish are now giving 23 points to the equally hapless Jets, who are already onto their 3rd string QB. Hard to believe, but that’s probably not enough either. Sign up at TheLineBreakers.com for our picks, 10 each week for 50% off all month. After two weeks we have adjusted our opinions, because Week One can be very misleading. Everyone and their mother picked the Steelers at home for a host of reasons, and they might have been proven right……..except….Big Ben blew out his elbow and there goes their season. You can’t lose best the running back, the best receiver and a three-time Super Bowl QB and expect to make the playoffs. The Bucs rebounded, the Raiders looked as bad as we expected, and the Falcs, every analysts’ best bet, recovered at home vs Eagles.Last week I suggested betting college football by focusing on top 25 teams. Even laying heavy points, you made a lot of money with that strategy. This week are some even more huge lines, and if you check us out at TheLineBreakers.com you’ll see who we like. Coop and the rest of the team will post our picks at TheLineBreakers.com, so stop by the site, look around and if you like what you see, sign up for half price for our weekly and monthly subscriptions. We have a lot of interesting content and all former the podcasts are archived there; you can also see that our analysis was right on, ….usually.The Bucs had an impressive road win last Thursday which should help them out vs Giants who are starting rookie QB Daniel Jones….10 days to prepare for a rookie, guess who I’m taking Coop?.............. Dallas did what we thought they would to a lousy Skins team, winning easily and now host the hapless and tanking Fish, no pun intended.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of week One in NFL
Coop and the Mechanic are back this week talking about week one in NFL, The Good, The Bad, And the Ugly. Why you shouldn't worry too much about how much teams play on week 1. Talking college football and we give you a huge tip on what too look for. thelinebreakers.com, visit us today and take advantage of our half off sale this month!! It’s often said that Week One of the NFL season is the hardest to predict and I’m firmly supporting that theory based on how badly I did. Overall, I didn’t do too badly, but my best bets didn’t pan out and I let myself get talked out of my top two picks. I’ll have more to say about that ahead, but to start off with, how on earth can the Patriots be that good right out of the gate and/or how can the Steelers be that bad? On top of that, the Pats “acquired” Antonio Brown from the Raiders for free, somewhat reminiscent of when they got Randy Moss also from the Raiders and then almost went undefeated;--- thank you Eli. Now AB’s just been accused by his former female trainer of sexual assault and rape in a civil lawsuit, three separate times! So, in that one game we had the Good and the Bad. That leaves the Ugly; a crown that was easily grabbed by the Dolphins who clearly are “Tanking for Tua”, the Alabama QB. Which brings up the most lopsided line in a very long time for a home team. The Fish are getting 19 points at home against the Pats. Home Dogs are often gold and many people just can’t resist a big line for the home dog. But here we also have a division rival. Last week I specifically mentioned the Fish as playing the Pats tough even when they suck. Well they truly suck now. What a dilemma? For that reason, I’m probably staying away because I can easily see it being a blowout just as easily as Miami losing by 18 or less and covering. Last week I violated my rule against laying a lot of points in a division rivalry game and laid the 10 on the Eagles vs. Redskins. Had they not spotted the Skins 17 straight points to start, they probably could have covered and were until the very end when as so often happens, they went into a prevent defense and let the Skins have a “Back Door Cover”. Eagles let Skins score while up by 12 and knowing that they would still win, but not cover. Not happy. As I said earlier, I made the mistake of listening to other’s opinions on games I had already made my mind up on and decided not to bet them or post them as my picks. That will not happen again. In addition, I did something else I hate doing, betting lots of parlays and not enough straight bets. Going 3-1 or 4-1 is great, except when it’s a parlay and you don’t win anything. Those two parlays if bet as straight bets would be 7-2, which I’ll take all day and twice on Sunday. Most analysts say that you should not put to much emphasis on week one results for several reasons, not the least of which is the lack of off season practice and preseason games without the starters playing for fear of injury. So if your teams looked really good or really bad, don’t place all your money on expecting the same result this weekend. College football has all these games where a top 25 team is playing a patsy and just crushing them. We discussed this last week and the reasons for this. MONEY. Nick Saban gave a lengthy press conference exclaiming his dislike of the current system and his wish that the all the top teams play each other so that going 10-2 could still allow a team to play for the National Championship. He even mentioned New Mexico State who they had just trounced 62-10. While praising coaches and players, he said he’d prefer tougher competition and challenged the reporter to find him tougher teams who would agree to play them. Notwithstanding that sentiment, we recommend taking top 25 teams in general and lay the points. Just look at last week’s results. You would have cleaned up. Coop and the rest of the team will post our picks at TheLineBreakers.com, so stop by the site,

The Sports Betting Explosion
Coop is back with The Professor and The Mechanic. This week we talk about all things NFLand betting. The NFLis here, we talk about how to look at the NFL spreads and what factors to focus on. More and more networks are putting more focus into sports betting, we tell you all you need to know to get started. If you haven’t noticed the explosion of new websites for sports betting you’ve been in a coma. Almost weekly, new sites are popping up most recently FOX’s site appearing everywhere starting last week. Its just a sign of the times after NJ won the case that said the state’s have the right to allow sports betting. Soon the entire country will have legalized sports betting because they all want the revenue from taxes and jobs. The proliferation of sports betting sites has many benefits for us sports bettors in the form of competition for your account they all offering perks ranging from matching initial deposits to cash for opening a new account, bet guarantees and odds boosts. So if you’re serious about betting you should take advantage of these perks and you should be shopping odds. A half a point or more can be the difference, especially in the NFL were the odds are often right on and any movement in your favor should be taken. In addition to all these new betting sites are new types of bets and offers. Odds boosts, in game wagering, guarantees and early cash-outs are all new offerings designed to entice you to bet more and bet more often. I supposed Mets fans are wishing they hit the early cash-out last night after blowing a 6 run lead in the 9thinning to lose 11-10. They are now toast as is their Manager, Mikey Calloway. Stick them both with a fork. The NFL kicks off tomorrow with the Packers visiting the Bears. The line is Bears favored by 3, and the over/under at 46 1/2. If you want to know who we’ve picked at TheLineBreakers.com, visit our website and subscribe. In addition to that pick we have picked 5 over/under futures bets for the NFL season totals. We will also have college and other NFL games selected. Speaking of season totals, it seems as if the Miami Dolphins are all set to “Tank for Tua”, the Alabama QB. The odds makers have set their season total at 4.5 which is the lowest I can remember. I’m not sure why they traded a second round pick for Josh Rosen and are now starting Ryan Fitzpatrick. I’m wondering what Rosen is thinking. In addition, they start off with the season when they host the Ravens and Pats and then visit the Cowboys and then the Chargers at home. How about and 0-4 start! Who did they piss off at NFL headquarters? Their being treated as if they were the Raiders for Christ’s sake. Hard to believe but I think I’m going to take the under. I don’t see 5 wins on their schedule. By the way the Raiders have the hardest schedule this year, even though they had only 4 wins last year and have to play a game in London! Let talk some NFL betting rules. Know the divisions and know the conferences. If you don’t know the structure of the league, you should learn it before you bet. The reason for this is you make the playoffs by winning your division, regardless of your record. You can even have a losing record and have home field for a playoff game. Because of this, teams typically are much more focused when playing a division rival. And this carries over to even when one team sucks. Not to beat a dead horse, but the Dolphins have often beaten the Pats even when they’ve been horrible. Another rivalry is the Steelers and Bengals. Some of the most brutal games even though the Steelers usually have a good records and the Bengals don’t. This means if it’s a big line on a division rival, the underdog is quite often the smart play. Let’s also talk about the schedule. There is a lot of coast to coast travel and this often takes its toll on a team. Some teams, notably the Raiders have had a horrible record for many years on the east coast.
