You know I love some mindset work. You know I’m a fan of positivity. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t space for ALL of our human experience (including the not so upbeat stuff and the downright crap stuff). The truth is: sometimes things feel tough. Whether it’s a situation in the world, a curve-ball life has thrown at you, or a challenge in your life, health, motherhood, relationships or business that you can’t quite seem to solve, the fact is that not everything is rosy all of the time. But what’s the answer then in the hard time? Do we spray positive thinking all over it and hope it just goes away? Nope. Not gonna work. Do we just throw our hands up in the air and say “fine, guess I’ll just have to accept that things are sh*t and maybe this is just my lot in life”. No, that doesn’t feel right either.
