It's been a little over three weeks since the show and Rebecca shares how she is managing life after competition. She shares some of the challenges that she experienced throughout the training and preparation as well as getting back into a routine afterwards. Halloween can be a challenging holiday for people trying to lose weight. Keeping things healthy while enjoying the time to dress up and trick-or-treat, especially if you have little ones around, can be difficult to balance. In this podcast episode, I chat with Devon and Rebecca about Halloween. We discuss our own Halloween's growing up, what they looked like, and what sort of things that we think can be done to make it a little healthier. We go through the entire process from preparing for the day, to how to manage trick-or-treating, and even how to handle having all the Halloween candy around after the evening is over. We share some healthy alternatives to the typical things you can give away and have a good discussion about the holiday in general. We'd like to break our normal schedule and format today so that we can take some time to hop on the mic ourselves and give a little update as to what's going on in our lives and what are plans are for the rest of 2014. In today's show Devon and I share some of the challenges we've faced so far in 2014, some of the successes and small wins we've had along the way, and we lay out some plans for the rest of the year - which include some big ones for this site. There is still a lot of time left in 2014. If you've been reflecting on your health with the change of season don't be discouraged. It's not too late to get active and start making progress on those plans you had - don't wait until the new year to reset your goals and actions.
