So this week we're in Albufeira, Portugal. I traveled there back in 2014 with my wife. I was in Dublin for work, and we happened to have a bank holiday long weekend. She had her heart set on Albufeira and I wanted to go to Porto or Lisbon. Guess who won..

Last week I mentioned how the most rewarding images I've taken have been the images I shot on set. I also discussed how the images I've shot are not permitted to see the light of day. That still true. So why am I showing you an image I shot on set?

We all go through a photographic crisis at some point or another. When we start taking pictures, we might be focused on Street Photography or Landscape or portraits. But at some point our interest in what we are photographing dwindles.

We're back in Morocco this week to discuss another image. Let's take a walk through the edge of the Sahara.

This week we're not on the street. We're not traveling to some far off place. But we will be discussing a digital space. A digital world in fact. And what I think is emerging as a new style of photography.

As image makers we are all inherently imperfect. The road we take is riddled with failures. Failed moments, failed light, personal fails. This helps us learn and expand our creativity. Here is one such failed attempt.

Today we discuss this particular image, dubbed The Sign, and whether or not a sign like this can have any effect in a large city such as New York.

Altercation's happen every day on the streets of large cities. Hell even in small towns. But its always nice to see someone go out of there way to diffuse a situation and not fuel the fire.

Once we finally arrived in the Souk in Marrakesh we began to explore. Down the narrow alleys with tourists lining the shops and store owners rallying people. This city is alive. Even at 11pm. Crazy. Have a listen.
