Kirk and Drew kick off 2021 with hope and optimism as they discuss a few New Year's resolutions before getting into their first interview of the year. This episode's guest is Township High School District 211 Superintendent, Dr. Lisa Small. Listen in to hear Dr. Small's background as well as how she processes and reflects on each day. 

In Episode 4, Kirk and Drew delve into the concept of "The Journey," which will be an ongoing episode topic for the podcast. Special guest Shawn Sullivan, Associate Athletic Director at Ball State University, shares with us his very cool and unique life journey and personal reflections. 

In Episode 3, Kirk J. Macnider and Andy Lazzara discuss the concept and practice of showing gratitude. An article that addresses four changes in the brain that can result from practicing gratitude is reviewed. The special guest in this episode is Mary Kay Prusnick, School Board Vice President for Schaumburg School District 54. 

In Episode 2 of "The Kurt and Andy Educational Podcast," Kirk and Drew explore the concept of being a reflective practitioner, both personally and professionally. The special guest interview is Gerry James, Assistant Principal at Hoffman Estates High School. 

Kirk and Drew kick off the podcast with some light conversation about the history of their names and how they prefer to be addressed. A quotation by George Washington Carver is discussed. The show's first guest is Mary Kate Smith, who is new to Schaumburg High School this year as a 12-month Assistant Principal.
