SSD 011 The Seven P’s

"Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance."– United States Army One thing I learned in the military is that you must plan in order to succeed. They use to drill into our head the 7P's which stands for prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. We would train for situations until those situations became so ingrained into our subconscious that we naturally reacted the way that needed to be reacted. Whether it be reacting to an ambush or assaulting a hill, we knew exactly what we needed to do and how we were going to do it. We would do it until it was perfect. We would do it until we could do it subconsciously. That way, whenever the "proverbial stuff" would hit the fan we would be ready. In life it requires the same planning. If you want to succeed in life you need to know what you are going to do and how you are going to do it. If you do not succeed the first time you get better. You keep practicing until it becomes subconscious. Once to become subconscious it becomes a habit. Once it becomes a habit you just naturally do it. You need to plan for a better future. If your life is not the way that you would like it to be you can change that starting today. Plan for a better tomorrow and a better future.
