This is the 3rd anniversary show. My first show was on 30th June 2012. A lot has changed over the 124 recordings, apart from my monotone delivery. To mark the occasion I have two guests. The first is Debbie Walker from Barceló Hotels. Debbie tells us all about this hotel chain in general and her recent trip to Barceló Puerto Vallarta. My first ever long haul holiday was in Puerto Vallarta, way back when planes still had a smoking section. My second guest is Frank Brehany from Holiday Travel Watch. Consumer protection is important to me, it's great to have Frank back on the show. We chat about Flight Plus Atol, the new European Package Travel Directive and other travel topics where the travel industry and the regulators need to improve. It was a grey, wet day when I recorded this week's show. So to cheer me up I looked back at my last holiday which was at Secrets Silversands in Cancun. I had a great time and enjoyed great food. It didn't really cheer me up as I remembered that I'm not going away this year (I'm moving house). So here's to next year's trip. wherever that may be.
