Hey there friends! Thanks for tuning in to the Jay Revell Show. In this episode, I have a story for you from my recent travels to the Orlando, Florida area. The story is from a project I produced with my friends from Visit Florida. The project took me to Orlando in search of some of the best hidden-gem golf courses in the sunshine state. The most amazing experience that I had on that adventure was at the Winter Park Golf Course. Winter Park is a small city just outside of Downtown Orlando and the nine-hole golf course there is just magical. I think you all will enjoy hearing the story and I know afterward many of you will be plotting a trip to Florida to play there. Hey there friends, hope you are enjoying your summer and spending some time on the golf course. In Episode 2 I am taking you to a course I discovered on one of my recent summer travels. While I was with my family in Pensacola, Florida I ventured a littele ways down the coast to Eglin Air Force Base and played the Eagle Course there. You've probably never heard of it and you probably will never play it, but the course was once something quite special. An Air Force base in Florida is the last place you'd think to look for remnants of the golden age of American golf architecture, but on my trip to Eglin, that's exactly what I found.
