Creating Healthy Habits That Last....
Most of us are struggling with how we can achieve healthier lifestyles and all-round wellness that we can maintain long term. We’ve tried different diet fads, exercise routines, and even pills but we become disappointed because it doesn’t give us the results that we expect as they are not sustainable (i.e. we end up regaining all the weight we lost). How is creating healthy habits more effective compared to those different health fads we see all over the internet nowadays? In this podcast our Co-Founder Kate Krieg with Dr. Gina Cleo will discuss: What is a habit and when acquired why does maintaining it became effortless and automatic? How does it contribute to our total wellness? How long does it take to change a habit? Why your personality affects habit change? How exposed are you to the triggers that influence you and your habits? Are self-control and willpower necessary to change a habit? What are the key ingredients to habit development? Do knowledge and awareness change your behaviour towards creating a positive habit? Why consistency is the secret sauce of habit change? We all struggle in understanding this concept, and most of the time we are sceptical about it. It is a new year and it is time for us to learn how we can use habits to build and grow our self-efficacy to become a better, new version of us and to achieve our personal, work goals and most importantly to sustain a HEALTHIER lifestyle.

#7 Rhonda's Weight Loss Journey
Most of us who go through different weight-loss fads, lose a few pounds at first but it never seems to stick. We may have high demands professionally and personally causing stress, sleep disturbances and often leads to inevitable weight gain. Rhonda Kerlew is a Sum Sanos client from Canada, a health professional and an amazing advocate. She talked about her weight loss journey in this podcast. Telling a similar story about most people who struggle with their weight as well, especially with many outside factors playing a part in our effort to maintain a healthy weight. As a lifelong lover of learning, Rhonda searched (even obsessed) for many ways to help her achieve her weight goals. She read many books, studied for years but nothing ever clicked, until she came to find Sum Sanos. As a health professional, she gave much importance to the fact that Sum Sanos is scientifically based. She always wanted to find a program that has a certain level of credibility behind it, and was enlightened that Sum Sanos was a perfect fit for her.As a healthcare consumer, she feels strongly that with different weight loss products everywhere, our demand for high level scientific evidence for a programs success must increase. We can’t just rely on celebrity endorsements from the latest diet or program or just because somebody says it is working for them. We need to select a program with the highest scientific evidence and Dr. Cleo’s research within Sum Sanos convinced her that this is the answer that she searched for a very long time. Rhonda explains:“ I find that the change in me with Sum Sanos is so deeply ingrained in my core” “ I now have a high awareness of what I need and what I don’t” “ I go through the modules, I learn and implement. I take my time. I reflect. No one is saying: “ I want you to do that and I want you to eat this..” and because of this I don’t feel like I’m ON a program. “It teaches you how to accept yourself and see things for what/how they really are and gives you awareness of yourself. It helps you achieve goals. You are putting in the right amount of effort and it doesn’t become an obsession. It sticks and you become the NEW YOU!“To learn how YOU CAN ALSO BECOME THE PERSON you really want to be and achieve your wellness goals, listen to our newest podcast and and get in touch at www.sumsanos.com
