On this show we aim to explore why and how inspirational and successful people do what they do. Perhaps it’s natural, or perhaps it involves an "Ingredient X" that is taught over time. Now, I know what you’re thinking. What does an 18 year old know about life skills?!? And to that I only have to say one thing. It’s a lucky I’m only doing the interviewing. The Ingredient X Podcast is different from all the other self -help business and entrepreneurial podcasts that exist because Ingredient X is designed to be focused on decisions and challenges faced by youth. A lot of podcasts address issues and barriers faced by adults in starting their own businesses and various investment opportunities, but the Ingredient X Podcast aims to inform its younger audience about technical and broad skills that are not traditionally taught through the schooling system. The kicker is it’s not meant to be boring. All the way from why it’s important to find passion in anything you do, to what it actually means to do your taxes as an Australian in a way we can actually understand, this podcast aims to be not only an educational resource, but allow for the congregation of youth that wish to level up their own skills, with other likeminded people. Interviews with motivated people, by a young person, will hopefully bridge the supposed skill gap between generations. For a lot of the time, the youth must adopt a self-motivated practice of learning about soft and technical skills, think about how many times someone has told you to just give it a go and figure it out yourself.
