Indy Art Show-Occupy Your Mind-Pandemic! - Ep. 25
Ep. 25 Occupy Your Mind-Pandemic! Unemployment - People around the country are having difficulty obtaining unemployment benefits during this quarantine. Is this due to faulty computer systems? Or could it be that states don't have the money to pay the unemployment benefits? (With all the money being spent on tax breaks to the rich, mass surveillance, militarization of our police forces, etc.) FDR who was president during the Great Depression of the 1930s famously said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." Have we decided as Americans that fear is actually a good thing? Is being afraid all the time keeping us safe? Is safety even possible? Since the Patriot Act was passed following 9/11, have we gotten safer? Does mass surveillance keep us safe or is safety an illusion? Why can't we repeal the Patriot Act? Why are we allowing the government to use the Coronavirus to take away more of our civil liberties? Why do we wear masks, maintain a distance from each other, hide in our homes in fear of a virus then sit down to eat junk food, smoke and drink? Is it better to die from heart disease, diabetes, or cancer than it is to die from Coronavirus?

Indy Art Show-Occupy your mind: Ep. 23 Pandemic! Is the US Managing this Crisis Properly?
Ep.23 We further our discussion of the Covid-19 pandemic with guests Jennings and Carl. Is this epidemic being managed properly here in the US? Shouldn't we be testing people to find out where the disease is prevalent? How long can we hide in our homes? Why aren't big businesses stepping forward to build the test kits, ventilators, and n95 masks health professionals need? Is this a conspiracy? Do some people want us to live in fear? Or is someone making money off of this? Or maybe our government is just that incompetent that it doesn't know what to do? Let's discuss! #Notdying4WallStreet #notdyingforwallstreet #pandemic

Ep. 22 Indy Art Show-Occupy Your Mind: Pandemic!
Episode 22: Pandemic! For today's episode of the Indy Art Show, we've merged with the Occupy Your Mind podcast to discuss the Coronavirus pandemic. We find it very suspicious that, although news of the virus has been with us for months, our government is claiming to be "unprepared" for dealing with this virus.
