I have been looking forward to this interview for the last year and was happy that Sam was able to free up a hour in his busy schedule to talk to me. Sam is a best selling author and has written his latest work titled The Disaster Diaries. When Sam's son was born he started having nightmares about being not being able to protect his new child during the time of a apocalyptic catastrophe. If anyone has read Sam's previous books, they know that Sam throws himself 100 percent into his research. Which is exactly what he did in this book. Sam trains his mind and body with some of the best in the world in different skillsets ranging from woodsman skills, shooting proficiency, to urban training with former L.A. gang members.
