Basilio Vieira on Virtual Reality, FB Privacy & Tech
My guest this week is Basilio Vieira. Basilio is an Information Security Auditor working for Bureau Veritas after a decade’s long career as a software developer and IT manager.  Following the advent of GDPR, he decided to focus on Information Security and enterprise risks to promote safer data handling in organisations as a way to improve our society.  He's now helping organisations build better and safer systems. Full disclosure when it comes to the Basilio. B, as I call him, is a very close friend of mine who has been supporting me on my Podcast journey right from the get go. He asked to be on the podcast and I said yes because our normal conversations are mostly about us having 2 different points of views. He says that having me agreeing with him is like trying to get blood from a stone.  I say welcome to the Devil’s advocate world.  We do get personal on this recording. We’ve known each other for a while now and we aren’t afraid to tell it as it is.  In this podcast, we talk about Virtual reality  and the effects of tech in general. We disagree on a few things when it comes to them but we agree that without tech we wouldn’t be here recording this podcast. Tech has many benefits but I am part of the people who think that it shouldn’t control our lives.  Basilio can be found on Twitter and on his Website Follow me on Instagram and Facebook. Join me. on Clubhouse - `@thehappycurator - every Saturday at 6pm UK Time to expand the conversation and answer your questions.  You can support the podcast by buying me a coffee If you’ve enjoyed this podcast, please share it with your friends and family. Lee Shanks on Mediumship
My first guest is Lee Shanks. Lee is a psychic medium. I wanted her to be on the show because there are so many people out there who pretend to be psychics and talk to your loved ones, that it makes it difficult for proper to know if the person you are talking to is the real deal. And damn Lee is definitely the real deal.  So how the hell did Lee discover her gifts? Well, despite experiences throughout her life indicating latent gifts and abilities - psychic hits, prophetic dreams, visits from loved ones crossed over, etc - she never let herself consider the experiences and what they meant. She basically ignored them all.   Instead, she went on to have a successful careers, first as a newspaper journalist and then as a senior government communications manager.     It wasn't until a chronic pain disorder put her in bed for several years that she finally felt compelled to take a second look at all these strange occurrences, after a premonition that she ignored came true within hours.     Within days, she was signing up for online courses through world-famous Canadian medium Carmel Joy Baird and sitting in a local development circle.    In the years since, her health has improved considerably (she turned to natural medicine and got off several prescriptions for her chronic pain disorders) and she’s able to work part time from home doing what she loves - providing psychic guidance and support and connecting with loved ones to Spirit to her clients around the globe.    Lee lives on the beautiful Vancouver Island, in British Colombia, Canada, where she resides with her husband, two sons, four cats, a dog and a rabbit.  Lee's Contact Details: Website, Facebook , Facebook Group , Instagram & on +1 250 466 5343   Follow me on Instagram and Facebook. Anita D Marshall on Soul Planning
Anita is is a Soul Alignment Life Coach, Energy Healer and Soul Plan teacher helping people to heal the disconnect in their lives that is creating burnout, overwhelm and being unfulfilled so that they can live their happy and aligned life. She uses her extensive training in spiritual coaching, counselling, hypnotherapy and energy healing modalities alongside Soul Plan with her clients to create lasting energy shifts at mind, body and soul level. Anita experienced burnout and feeling lost. She disconnected from who she was whilst working a corporate job that was literally was sucking the life out her. She got a sense of her calling whilst on 16 month’s of travels through India and Asia but the jigsaw pieces really fell into place when she learnt Soul Plan and used it to make changes in her own life.  Soul Plan became so key to understanding her life that she became a teacher of this ancient system of soul purpose guidance so that more people have the opportunity to experience it for themselves either through learning it or by having a soul plan reading. Also, it can be experienced through her coaching programmes where she uses it as the foundation to deepen the shifts. As she went on to become a Mother running her own business she found the potential for burnout re-occurring because of energies in her soul plan so she looked to her training as well as her love of nature which lead her to develop the SACRED. Re-Energise coaching and healing program to help prevent burnout and overwhelm. She has taken this to her clients with amazing results because it is tailored around their unique soul plan energies. She also has her Soul Aligned Coaching program to help people align and clear the blocks to living a life aligned with purpose and shining as they are being called to do.   If you would like to find out more about Anita and her services you can find her at: anitadmarshall.com or on Facebook: www.facebook.com/anitadmarshallcom.   You can join the conversation in my Facebook group: The Happy Curator Podcast and keep updated by following me on Instagram and Facebook.   You can support the podcast by buying me a coffee If you’ve enjoyed this podcast, please share it with your friends and family. You can subscribe & Review: iTunes | Spotify | Stitcher | Alexa | Google Podcasts | Tunein | Deezer

Chef Cynthia Louise on Plant Based Eating
Chef Cynthia Louise is a classically trained chef who found her happy when she started working in a health retreat many moons ago. She was coming from an environment of butter and cream to one that relied solely on plants.  She’s been a part of thousands of women's and men's cooking journeys. She’s held their hands throughout the many years helping them understand the art of cooking plant-based recipes. By bringing the ritual of cooking plant-based meals to the humblest kitchens around the world, she’s seen countless transformations and all this by simply choosing how to nourish our bodies. Cynthia is based in Bali where she films her cookery classes and inspires so many of us. She’s also the head chef behind the Genius Cafes that are starting to sprout all around the world. I stumbled on Cynthia while checking out recipes on FMTV. A food channel now linked to Gaia. I was watching her cook and I was hungry. Scratch that, I was starving. That, my friends, is no small feature. While I had organically reduced my consumption of meat and fish, I still hadn’t upped my plants and nor was I focusing on how important it was for me to eat more fibre.  Fast forward a few months and when I launched the podcast, I wanted to have her on the show.  She’s really changed the way I look at food these days. Her recipes are mouth-watering and have for aim to take care of our internal organs and give them the love they deserve.   You can connect with Cynthia on her website, Facebook and Instagram. Tow of my favourite recipes are the Potato Bake and her healthy 2-minute noodles You can join the conversation in my Facebook group: The Happy Curator Podcast and keep updated by following me on Instagram and Facebook.   You can support the podcast by buying me a coffee If you’ve enjoyed this podcast, please share it with your friends and family. You can subscribe & Review: iTunes | Spotify | Stitcher | Alexa | Google Podcasts | Tunein | Deezer

Anita Kaiser on Empathy & Setting Boundaries
Anita Kaiser is a Priestess who trained in Reiki, energy work and Emotional Freedom Technique. Anita and I connected due to the fact that we are empaths.  Empaths, if you don’t know, lack the filters most people use to protect themselves from excessive stimulation and can’t help but take in surrounding emotions and energies, whether they’re good, bad, or something in between. They also have a higher sensitivity to outside stimuli such as sounds, big personalities, and hectic environments. They bring a lot of heart and care to the world and feel things very deeply. I was really interested in having Anita on the show to talk about her work. She helps empaths set boundaries so that they can thrive in their daily lives and gives them the tools to properly nurture themselves when their emotions run high. Anita dreams of a world where we are all deeply connected to our emotions and no longer trying to be someone else.  Her commitment to helping others move forward past their painful history, discover joy and find their inner fire was forged in her previous work as a yoga and mindfulness instructor.    Resources mentioned in the podcast: Anita's website Facebook Instagram  Join the conversation in my Facebook group: The Happy Curator Podcast and keep updated by following me on Instagram and Facebook.    If you’ve enjoyed this podcast, please share it with your friends and family. Expanding The Mind: Plant-Based Eating
Plant-based food is A way of eating consisting mostly or entirely of foods derived from plants, including vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, fruits and with few or no animal products.   Join me as I delve into the world of PLANT-BASED EATING and talk about 1 Podcast, 2 Books, 1 TV Show, and 1 chef that have made me hungry , in every sense of the word. Hungry for food and hungry for wanting to know more.    First up is Rich Roll who has this amazing podcast. I’ve learned so much from listening to his diverse guests. The first-ever podcast I listened too was when he had Dr Zach Bush, a triple board-certified physician who specialises in the gut and the microbiome. The man made me cry. He is so right on so many things.  Listened to his podcast with the Rich Roll. You won’t be disappointed. Oddly enough, I had the same sort of conversation with Heather Rusk on my first podcast. Synchronicity always blows my mind!   Dr Michael Greger who wrote ‘How not to Die’.  He is an American physician, author, and professional speaker on public health issues, best known for his advocacy of a whole-food, plant-based diet, and his opposition to animal-derived food products. As human beings, we can do much better and this is what he tells us in this awesome book.    Dr Will Bulsiewicz, affectionately known as Dr B or as I call the Dr House of the gut! In this ‘I can’t put it down’ book ‘Fiber Fuelled’, based on copious amounts of research, he explains why going Plant-Based and feeding our gut with fibre is the best thing we can do for our bodies.    Chef Cynthia Louise. The woman who is showing that plant-based food is anything but boring and involves more than a sad carrot and crap loaded additives food. I dig this woman so much, that I am telling everyone that I know about her.    Down to Earth with Hollywood actor Zac Efron and Darin Olien, an author, entrepreneur and podcast host who is well-versed in the world of sustainability. I learned a lot with this show and the episode I am focusing on is the Sardinia one.  You can find me on Instagram and Facebook and do join the Facebook group! I’m always happy to hear ideas and comments

Heather Rusk on Humanity & the role we play on Planet Earth
Heather has been on a 25 year journey of self-awareness and exploration.  After a seemingly successful career as an Art Conservator, she became chronically ill and walked away from that life, to find healing for herself.  She chased training and certification in many modalities, but realized that healing wasn’t just about the modality, but also about the relationship and authentic connection she had with herself.  Her journey started as a child. Her family grew most of their organic food. They composted, recycled, cooked on a wood stove & made maple syrup.  These are some of the elements that supported her understanding of the importance of a healthy relationship with nature and natural materials.   Foundations in her adult life have included natural building, conscious parenting, meditating, buying local and growing her own food.  She now mentors individuals and teaches groups.  Her work is designed to help support the healing and conscious integration that can serve as part of the foundation humans need to become the stewards of a New Earth.  A part of her work is specifically with horses and ecosystems.        hlrusk@icloud.com www.heatherrusk.com www.newearthequine.com https://www.facebook.com/HeatherNewEarth/ https://www.facebook.com/NewEarthEquine/
