Understanding H.pylori
Helicobacter Pylori is a bacteria that can live in your stomach lining and can increase the risk of stomach ulcers and gastric cancer. 50% of the world's population have this bacteria, and will present with symptoms such as reflux, bloating, burping and bad breath. But many people that have Helicobacter Pylori, don't experience any symptoms.   In episode 3 of The GUT Guru, I speak to Dr. Alfred Tay from The Marshall Centre for Infectious Diseases Research and Training. My Personal Health Story
My personal health journey has helped me evolve as a naturopath, and specialise in treating the condition Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). As a practicing naturopath I see many people in my clinic that come in with very similar health stories. All of them are motivated  intellectuals that just want to live a healthier and happier life. I feel that there is so much information out there, that it brings confusion to not only the public, but to health practitioners! In this first episode of The GUT Guru, I wanted to share a little bit about who I am, and the reason why I decided to start this podcast. My intention is to inform, education and inspire anyone who wants to achieve a healthy gut and reduce their symptoms by finding the cause of their health ailment.
