The Legalities of Shooting Down Chinese Spy Balloons and Other Aircraft | Lawyer and F-15 Pilot Michael Segal
Michael “$noop” Segal is an attorney in Los Angeles, California, and an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.  Prior to becoming an attorney, he served as a combat F-15 fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force.  Michael started his flying career in the F-15C learning how to gain and maintain air superiority.  He later transitioned to the F-15E, where he developed his skills as a multirole combat aviator.  While serving as an F-15E pilot, he deployed to Afghanistan and led airmen in combat during Operation Enduring Freedom.  After leaving Active Duty in 2016, Michael attended the UCLA School of Law. Michael also joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve in 2016, where he initially performed duties as the Director of Inspections for the base Inspector General at the 916th Air Refueling Wing in North Carolina.  He then transferred to the 701st Combat Operations Squadron at March Air Reserve Base in California, where he has served as a Senior Air Defense Officer, Section Chief, and now as the Director of Operations for the squadron's detachment at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. Held Captive by Communist Terrorists During the Cold War | Lessons from Maj Gen James L. Dozier
Major General James Lee Dozier is a retired U.S. Army officer who served 35 years with the U.S. Army and NATO in the United States, Europe and Asia. He was commissioned as an Army officer in 1956 following graduation from West Point. He earned a master’s degree from the University of Arizona in aerospace engineering and is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and the Army War College. During his service in Vietnam, General Dozier was awarded both the Silver Star and Bronze Star for heroism and the Purple Heart for combat wounds. In 1981 he was kidnapped by Red Brigades terrorists in Italy and held for 42 days before being rescued. General Dozer’s conduct during this harrowing period was recognized by President Ronald Reagan with several invitations to visit the White House. On retirement from active service in 1985, Dozier returned to Florida and became a leader in agribusiness for 20 more years before retiring again in 2004. Since 1985 General Dozier has been actively involved in community groups and veterans’ organizations, including the Lee County Electric Cooperative, the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, the Florida Commission on Veterans Affairs, the Southwest Council Boy Scouts of America, the Fort Myers Heart Walk, Rotary Club, the Lee Coast Chapter Military Officers Association of America, Good Wheels and the local Congressman’s Service Academy Nominating Committee, among others. In 2015 he was inducted by Governor Scott into the Florida Veterans Hall of Fame. In this episode, he talks about his time at West Point, his relationship with Maj Gen George Patton IV and Gen Norman Schwarzkopf, and lessons from his kidnapping and captivity. Tony Muro is a US Army combat Veteran and lead mentor for PTSD Foundation of America. The Foundation runs Camp Hope, which is a 6–12-month residential program based in Houston, TX, provided free of charge to any combat Veteran suffering from PTSD. There, Veterans are guided through an extensive program focusing on mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health (the "whole-person" approach). Their mission is to reduce the daily Veteran suicide rate from 44 to 0. Documentary of "The Real American" Evan Thompson | Film Producer Stan Wong
Stan Wong is producing a documentary called "The Real American," which tells the story of Evan Thompson III - who, for 45 years, would wave a large American flag at low flying military airplanes as they passed over his house in the desert outside Las Vegas. Alongside the story of Evan, the film also features vignettes of A-10 pilot Chris Beckman, WW2 Navy sailor Doris Miller, and F-16 pilot Heather Penney. The Real American will be released this summer. He decided to dedicate more of his time to film, establishing his company, Infinite Fountain Productions llc., in 2014. Shooting commercials and short films for clients and other filmmakers, he learned everything he could about writing, directing and producing.  Biding his time till he was confident that he could make a film that was compelling, interesting, paced well and with fully developed characters, "Departure" was written in 2014 with several rewrites and help from professional writers. The Military Leadership Journey | F-35 Wing Commander, Brig Gen Jason Rueschhoff
Brigadier General Jason M. Rueschhoff is the Commander, 56th Fighter Wing, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The wing’s mission is to train the world’s greatest fighter pilots and combat ready Airmen. As part of Air Education and Training Command, and home to 26 squadrons with both F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-35A Lightning II aircraft, the 56th FW is the largest fighter wing in the Air Force and graduates more than 105 F-35 pilots, 188 F-16 pilots and 300 air control professionals annually. Additionally, the 56th FW oversees the Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field and is steward of the Barry M. Robert "Redeye" Harris is a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He flew O-2 Skymasters as a Forward Air Controller (FAC) over Cambodia - a top secret operation between the US and Cambodian Army, which intended to prevent the North Vietnamese from using the Ho Chi Minh Trail to supply their troops in the south. The first third of the episode is about Robert's training, the second is about the missions that resulted in the awarding of two Distinguished Flying Crosses (DFC), and around 1:12 into the episode he talks about his work with the Cambodian Army.
